Chapter 2

Okay so I made a mistake, and Deidara is going to be 18, if you're confused then read the last chapters comments cuz that kinda explains it all. And I forgot to say that yes Itachi did kill his clan! so yeah on with the story!

***Naruto POV

Akane and I were going to be Jinchuuriki. It took me a while to wrap my head around this thought. Mostly because mom was going to die soon if it was extracted. I wondered about Mishina and if she would ever come to see us again. Well we have a few days to find that out until we're going to be the hosts of Kurama.

Akane snapped me out of my thoughts, "Are you okay Naruto?" she asked sitting and putting an arm around me.

"No. No I'm not okay!" I yelled standing up. "This is all Mishinas' fault! If she were still here mom would be happy and we wouldn't be the new jinchuuriki of The Nine Tails!"

"Naruto you have to think about this rationally. Mishina was stolen." she paused for a second. "Mishina was stolen by the Akatsuki and they wouldn't let her go. Now she thinks of that as her home, she's not-" she was cut off by nothing. Her eyes had a glassy look on them and she was starting at the kitchen sink.

"Umm Akane?" I snapped my fingers I front of her face. Nothing. "Akaaaane?" I waved my hand around. Still nothing. What in the world was she seeing right now?

A few seconds later she snapped out of her trance. "What did you see Akane?" I asked her urgently.

"There's nothing to worry about, she's coming. But that's not going to make mom any better. I know that Mishina isn't going to stay though, she's going to go back." she stated. "She'll arrive in a few days. But like I said, I think Mom is already to far gone to live Naruto. It would really be a miracle, but then again we are Uzumaki's and we don't give up." she smiled slightly.

I gave a small smile in return, "Should I tell Mom?"

"Yeah, go and see how it makes her feel. See if it makes her smile." she said.

I got up going to tell Mom the good news. She was sitting in the same position that she is always in with a family picture in her hand of all of us when we were four. A tear leaked from her eye and fell on the glass that was protecting the picture.

"Mom?" I said. She looked up and I saw her frail body. It made my heart break to see her in this kind of pain right now.

"What is it Naruto?" she sighed.

"I have good news. Mishina is going to be here in a few days." I smiled. Then for the first time in years, I saw a genuine smile come across her face.

"She is?" mom asked hopefully.

"Mom." I chuckled, "why would I say that if she isn't?"

"Mishina's coming home?!" Mom got off the bed and hugged me as tight as she could, which wasn't too tight considering how small she's gotten. "Mishina is coming home." she sighed and smiled again.

***Akane POV (A few days later.)

I was sitting in my office thinking about two red heads. I was stuck on both of them, they were just engraved in my mind. I didn't want to wait to see him again. But maybe I could send Moriko and another guard with her, that way it's a win win situation because I'm pretty sure she likes Make Up Boy. I shrugged my shoulders shaking that off for now.Oh well, I can't think of that right now. I have more important matters on my hands right now. I was going to be the host of Kurama in a matter of hours.

We kept all of this on the low so that no one would freak out about anything, like the Hokage being a Jinchuuriki.I shook that off as well and got back to my paper work that was stacked on my desk, but was interrupted by a red head walking into my office.
