“I wonder what Luna is doing.” Says Jazz, half curious, half frustrated.

“She does like Andrew.” Says Alex.

“This is supposed to be professional! Not romantic!” I let out, frustrated.

Harriet giggles.

“What!” I say, turning towards her, extremely annoyed. She suddenly goes quiet, and looks at Alex fleetingly.

“Ew.” Says Courtney. “Suddenly everyone has a relationship.”

“I wish there were more boys on this island.” Says Jazz, as if in some sort of daydream.

“Hem, hem!” Says Harriet, clicking her fingers.

“What?” She says, going red. “Oh you can’t judge me, Harriet! You’ve already dated both of them!” Snaps Jazz.

Harriet flushes furiously, opening her mouth to argue back.

“Excuse me.” Says Alex, holding his hand up in Harriet’s direction. For a moment she looks offended, but then a smirk creeps up her face.

“What, Alex?” Asks Jazz. “Are you not together or something?”

“Kiss her.” Says Courtney. Everybody turns to her. “Kiss her, then!”

Harriet rolls her eyes as Alex turns to her.

“No.” Says Harriet. “I’m not doing that again.”

“Oh come on!” Says Courtney.

“I’m not you’re entertainment!” Says Harriet, red and indignant.

“Alright!” I say. “We need to go get Luna in a bit.”

“How about now?” Harriet says. “She’s probably kissing him!”

“Do you care then?” Asks Jazz.

Harriet opens her mouth again in frustration, then closes it.

“No! I just… I want to interrupt them if they are!”

“Fine. We’ll go now.” I turn around and start walking in their direction, everyone else trailing behind me. As I reach the outskirts of trees that outline the clearing, I pause, resting my hand on a nearby trunk, peering. Luna is talking to Andrew in a hushed voice, and he looks extremely uncomfortable, whispering back. I look back at the group, who all look curious, and I beckon them to come forward. I edge forward slowly, creeping up towards them.

“We can’t do it now.” Says Andrew. “And not yet. I’ve already told you I’m not ready.”

“Why?” Asks Luna.

Luna likes Andrew!

“When you kiss me, I can’t pull away. I’m trapped. How am I supposed to kiss you properly if I don’t have the choice to end it!?"

“Ok.” She says. She turns to her side, spots us, and quickly jumps to her feet, extremely red.

“Hi guys.” She says. I never thought I would see Luna awkward.

“Luna…” I say. “You can’t just kiss him! Not now! He’s being trialed! And also, it’s against his will. And that’s unfair.”

Luna rolls her eyes.

“He said he was fine with me kissing him again!” She says, indignantly.

“Yes! But I still couldn’t stop it!” Cries Andrew.

Well, he’s gained some fight since I last saw him. His voice is no longer weak and pitiful.

“Luna. Your “interview” is over.” I add quotation marks over the words and she joins the rest of the group reluctantly.
