Scarlett POV
I arrive at the dark planet, and I can feel the instant effect on my powers. I haven't transformed yet, I don't know if that is a smart thing to do, but I am trying to preserve my powers for when I need it. I can see a ship coming to land in the distance. Fortunately I am wearing black clothes so I don't stand out on this dark planet. I hide among the sharp rocks, trying to stay hidden without impaling myself.
"Obsidian, the perfect vacation spot if you're pure evil." I hear Aisha remark. They all made it here.
"Yeah, if I were a witch, this would definitely be my idea of paradise." A sarcastic comment like that, could only belong to the one and only Stella.
"Hey, this is no joke. The evil here is so strong, I can already feel my powers getting weak." I think that was Musa.
"It's a good thing we left the Pixies back at the village. Seriously, all this evil could really kill them." Aisha responds, I fully agree with her. The pixies would not do well here.
"But the worst part is, this place is ugly. I don't care how evil you are, there is no excuse for a total lack of style." That's Stella again.
They reach the gate, and I hear multiple wow's and oh's. I silently transform, while they are all staring awestruck at the gate.
"Hey, Bloom, something tells me this is the right place." That voice belongs to Sky. If Sky is here, the other specialists are too. That means Phoenix might be here too.
Thinking about Phoenix brought back all those emotions, that I don't have time for right now. I push them back down and continue listening to their conversation.
"You're right. That must be the portal." That was Bloom. I press myself further against the rocks. I can't let her see me.
"And that looks like the lock for our key!" I hear Tecna say.
"Okay, there's no turning back now." Bloom says, flying over with the key. I hear it being inserted into the lock.
For a few seconds there is nothing but silence.
" Are you guys sure you got the right key? Because this doesn't seem to-" Bloom says, but is cut off by the ground rumbling. I flick my eyes towards the gate and notice that the shards of rock are moving aside. I realise that I need to distract them, to be able to sneak in without them noticing. I break off a shard of a rock and throw it in the opposite direction. It makes a loud clattering sound that draws their attention away from the gate for a few seconds.
"What was that?" Flora asks. I fly quickly towards the gate, and throw myself through it. The black goo crawls over my body and pulls me inside. I can't hear anything that is happening outside, all I can see is a black cave, leading further in.
Phoenix POV
When we arrived at Obsidian, I could instantly tell that Scarlett was there too. I could feel her through our... 'connection'. Part of me just wanted to run towards her, but I assumed she was hiding from everyone. Hiding from Bloom. Hiding from me.
Bloom opened the gate, but we heard a clattering sound in the distance. Everyone turned to see what the source of the sound was, but I kept my eyes on the gate. Scarlett flew straight into the gate, the black goo swallowed her, and was gone before anyone else noticed that she was even there.
"Winx, we're gonna have to go through that portal." Bloom says.
"Okay, so, who's going to take the first step?" Tecna asks.
Aisha and Stella step up to the portal. Aisha pokes at the black goo and it starts to crawl up her arm.
"Ew! That is so gross!" Stella exclaims upon seeing the goo crawl up Aisha's arm.
