Renjun stayed at their province for more two days so he could have a little vacation and to prioritize his mom—seeing his mom’s condition, honestly guilt him the most, he feels like he should stay with her to monitor her condition, but again, she’s the reason why he’s working hard even if he’s away with his family.
His mom was recharged later that noon, Renjun was ready to pay the hospital bill but the nurse said it’s already paid as Jaehyun paid for it before he went back to Seoul that night.
Now that he’s at home, he doesn’t feel like going out his comfort space—three day leaves actually feel so short. He needs a one year break, away from everything.
“My brother told me to accompany you,” Renjun snapped back to reality when the driver speak as he look at him through the mirror. “I hope it doesn’t bother you.” the younger said with a smile on his face.
Renjun just released a small laugh as he look away.
“Stop acting, Sungchan.” the driver just laugh at him.
The car stopped in front of a tall building, Sungchan told him to call anytime if he needed a driver which made Renjun feel elevated, at least.
Renjun was holding his blazer, neatly rolled up on his arm as he carries the paper bag that contains his lunchbox he made this morning.
“Welcome back,” he look on his side and saw his friend wearing a side smile which suits him the most—with those hair slightly messed, probably because of his helmet.
Jaemin approached him, single-handedly carrying his black matted helmet—he takes it carefully as well as his black Honda CBR Fireblade—like it was his own babies as he prevent them from any minor scratches.
“If I could just leave for a year,” he rolled his eyes as he sigh exasperatedly. Renjun noticed, he’s wearing a new leather jacket. Just how many leather jackets he have, on Renjun’s thought.
Jaemin pressed the button and let Renjun get inside the elevator first as he noticed Renjun can’t use either of his hand and him being the gentleman he is.
Renjun took a quick glance at the big office inside—adjacent to their quarter as they entrance—it seems empty as the blinds were blocking its blurry glass window, though it's been like that ever since.
He look in front of him with shock and irritated expression as he felt like his ear would explode. Haechan blow a trumpet toy, literally on his face and gave him a smothering hug.
Haechan missed him that much, it was quite embarrassing as some of their officemate were looking at them so Renjun drag Haechan to their cubicle and sat down. It’s always his job to calm his friend down.
Jaemin still wearing his smile as he put his helmet on his locker—with so much care, he even put a soft piece of cloth inside for his helmet to sit comfortably, and even when he gets back to his seat, his smile still plastered on his face.
“You missed so many things,” Haechan lowered his tone. “gotta spill some tea.” Renjun just shove away his face as Haechan were too close—but he love it every time Haechan would spill some tea, it was quite resourceful every time he’s not aware of his surroundings.
“God, Haechan!” Jana pushed her swivel chair, making her back, bump to Renjun’s chair. “It’s too early. Let him breathe, okay?” she rolled her eyes before she went back to her space.
Jaemin sat down beside Renjun as their cubicle were just next to each other. Renjun look at him kinda confused as Jaemin put a paper bag that's in between them—on Jaemin's side.
