Jaehyun and Renjun both went back to city after only two days of leave, it was shorter than what Renjun had planned but since Renjun doesn't want to waste a day, he feels like he wanted to earn more money so he could fill his savings for his mom's maintenance, everything went fine between him and Jaehyun, or maybe he just don't want to make a fuss out of it and make it a big deal.
They spent their short leave doing some water activities, they also spent their night on Jaehyun's owned yacht—despite chilling winds, it was nothing as they gave each other body warm especially they when collide, creating a spark between them.
It gives him the assurance that he needed even though Jaehyun didn't say a words—he actually doesn't even have to because what he did was already enough for him. He's looking for another tomorrow with him with nothing but full of sureness and that it would lead them for more long lasting relationship.
“You're glowing,” Haechan said on his side while sipping on his coffee—he was leaning on Renjun's cubicle. “should I also take a leave?” that didn't failed Renjun to laugh.
“It will take you a one or two year leave then,” Jana butt in while doing some big stretch on her chair.
Renjun's laugh echoed through their area, he even clapped his hands because of what Jana said. It was funny enough that Jaemin who doesn't usually laugh at some nonsense words—almost spit his iced coffee.
“Anyways,” Haechan collected himself before he could throw Jana at the window and just sit beside Renjun. “I heard that our CEO were planning a get-together dinner later,” that piqued Renjun's interest as he finally stopped from typing on his keyboard.
“And today was Rina's birthday, mind you.” Haechan said doing a side-eye to where their CEO's office located at.
Renjun sighed as he rolled his eyes, probably why he was stressed was because of Haechan who did nothing but grows insecurities on him—even though Haechan don't have any idea, it still hits him sometimes.
“That's cool then,” Renjun just agreed so Haechan could now leave him but he just scoffed instead. “I mean, isn't that a personality development? Come to think of it, he doesn't usually bond with his employees, so...” Renjun can't believe he really had to explain, which is effective anyway as Haechan got his point.
“You could also experience the same thing when it's finally your birthday, you know..” Jaemin added, pressing his lips outward. Nope, he wasn't serious about it—that was the most fakest words he ever said.
“But is it really a thing though? What if it's just another baseless rumors?” Jana contradicted.
Everyone in the room looked at the front in unison when their CEO walks in and cleared its throat to get their attention.
Haechan nudge Renjun—wanted to say that maybe it's an announcement regarding on that get-together-thingy.
Renjun was trying his best not to smile as he noticed Jaehyun would always glance at him—it was funny because he looks like a lost kid and was trying to speak in panic.
It was indeed about the gathering which made everyone overwhelmed and was speechless even after Jaehyun went to his office.
“Whoaahh! That was some big character development!” Haechan exclaimed, with his enlarging eyes as well as hand covering his mouth.
“You see how he even stutter?” Jaemin whispered as he laugh. “He's really not into that kind of shit,” he stopped from teasing their CEO when Renjun slap his arm—telling him to stop, like a mom scolding her kid.
