~Vic's POV~
KELLIN QUINN INVITED ME OVER. KATELYNN JUST BROKE UP WITH HIM. I could easily strike now, but I don't use my superpowers for evil. I don't take advantage of vulnerable little Kellins. I'm just gonna go over there and be a supportive friend. Help him get through his breakup.
"Hey Vic!" Kellin said, motioning me into his home, "Come on in!"
"Thanks. You seem awfully happy considering the circumstances." He just shurgged. WHATS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN, KELLIN? QUIT PLAYING ME AND SUCK THIS D-. My dirty Kellin thoughts were interrupted by no other than Kellin Quinn himself, "Uh, that's actually why I invited you here. I wanted to talk about Katelynn." Yes Kellin, Vic is here for a shoulder to cry on. Talk about your feelings with me, baby. "Okay what about it?" He laughed his sexy, musical laugh and said, "Vic, I don't know its stupid." I placed my hand on his thigh in a friend manner. Not in a way that implied hey, second base is only five inches away... But if he wants to... "You can tell me." He was  reluctant, but he brought himself to say, "She broke up with me because of you."
"O-of me? How is that even possible?" Didn't see that coming...  "She thinks there's something going on between us."
"What gave her that idea?"
"That's not important. But she's wrong, right?" I didn't know what to say, so I just didn't say anything. "Vic, say something. Please."
"Kellin, I-" were the only two words I could force out of my mouth just then. His voice grew quiet and wouldn't make eye contact with me and said, "Vic, did you think there was something... Here?" I unintentionally yelled, "I don't know, Kellin! I mean, you were being sorta flirty! What did you expect me to think?" He still wouldn't look right at me, "It was just a joke."
"I think it wasn't a joke. I think you need to reevaluate your life a little." He wouldn't say anything. Not saying anything is worse than him rejecting me. The suspense was literally killing me. I moved an inch closer to him so he could hear me when I whispered, "Kellin, can we create something beautiful, and then destroy it?" He started laughing really hard, which is good because I was trying to lighten the mood. "Wow Vic how big of an asshole do you have to be to quote your own music?"
"Kellin, your the bomb.com. Is that better?"
"Yes quoting my music is better." Okay, at least we have the friendship element back. I'll be able to change this by the end of the night. Hey, every once in a while even the best superheroes have to be bad.
