3rd POV:
Scar was traveling along the sewers, hating the stench but figuring that this was the best way to get places. There were miles of them, and they were like a maze. Suddenly Scar saw dozens of mice and rats running away from something behind him. Gluttony had snuck up on him, and was drooling at his next snack. Lust was hidden further away behind Gluttony. She knew the way Scar worked his alchemy, with one arm. She knew that the human would attempt to kill Gluttony in one move. He would fail of course. Lust smiled as she watched her predictions play out.
As Gluttony screamed in pain, clutching his face against the alchemy light, Lust ran towards Scar extending her spears at him. Scar saw them coming and dodged most of them, however one went deep into his right arm. The arm of his brother, the blasphemous arm. Thinking quickly, he managed to collapse the sewer pipe they were all in and shed his shirt. It was ripped and bloody beyond repair; it would only slow him down trying to keep it on. He made his escape, and Lust and Gluttony glared at the large mound of rubble now in front of them. Gluttony spoke up then.
"I smell many humans coming towards us, Lust. Should we leave so we don't get caught?" He was crying as he spoke. Sad at the loss of a good snack. Lust nodded and they disappeared into the shadows as police officers started searching for anybody who might have been hurt by the blast. One officer, a woman, called out. She had found Scars bloody shirt, and she had recognized it as his. She sent a man to Colonel Mustang, requesting his assistance. She would show the shirt to the Colonel once he was here. Scar was back in Central, and if he's hurt he might be desperate enough to be more reckless with his hunt for Alchemists. Previously he had made sure not to harm anyone outside of his targets.
Once Colonel Mustang, Lt. Hawkeye and Havoc were on the scene, Hawkeye confirmed the officer's thoughts. "This is most definitely Scar's. And he lost a lot of blood from the way it looks. He might be unstable mentally as well if he caused this destruction." She stated. Mustang nodded and shouted out orders to Havoc.
"I want you and your men to dig all this up, don't stop til you've done it. Not even for coffee breaks!"
Havoc sighed.
"What? Not even for coffee? Aren't you being a little too harsh on this? Sir?" Havoc complained. Mustang slouched and responded,
"If I get no rest then neither do you! And if Scar is back then I want to settle this as soon as I can; Fullmetal and Apex may finish up in Lior any day now. You should know as well as I do that they'll find SOME way to get in the middle of this." He walked off to do more paper work.
As Mustang was still working a women officer, a 2nd Lt. Ross walked in and saluted.
"Sir! I came to report that Fullmetal and Apex are almost here from Lior." Mustang near about fell out of his chair at this.
"What? What do you mean they are almost here? I didn't get any call's from them that the had finished up! They're supposed to call ahead of time before dropping by! When will they be here?" Mustang yelled. Lt. Ross shrank from his fury, and mumbled out,
"Ha- Half an hour..... Sir...."
Mustang slammed his fist against the table. He knew that this was their way of getting back at him for the missed three years. He knew that this was Maeve's idea too. It was a little loop hole in the rules. One that never really mattered so no one had bothered covering it up. It was advised that a State Alchemist let their commanding officer know when they were done with their mission as soon as it was completed. How ever they HAD to let the commanding officer know of their completion at least 30 miles away from where their commanding officer was. Mustang scowled and squeezed his fist in frustration.
