Chapter Dos

POV Juliet

I really dont like how he looked at me. It was kinda of creepy. His green eyes just were so captivating. They were like a drug. My drug. It made me giddy. I dont like this feeling. It needs to stop.

Looking down at my schedule I realize I have Spanish first block. Im really good with spanish.

I walk into my classroom, and see that everyone already has there little clique. The girls with wayyy to much makeup are in the back corner. The jocks are at the table next to them. And the "nerdy" people are at the very front. I dont mean to sound rude but thats the only way I can think to describe them. Being me, I receive glares from the "barbies." I get lustful looks from the jocks. And the nerds? They dont even look up until I sit next to a blonde girl with black glasses.

I take out my glasses.(Yes, I have poor eyesight.) The girl just looks at me like I committed murder. I did in a way. I committed social murder. I just smile at her and stick out my hand.

"Hey my name is Juliet!" I chirp.

"H-Hi my name Kate. But people call me Kat."

"Do you spell that with a "C" or a "K"? " I question

"K" she replies.

"Cool"

"Why did you sit with me?" Kat asks.

"What do mean?"

"Why did you sit next to me? Its social murder."

"Because I want real friends. I don't wanna be next to the barbies. Who pretend to be my friend, and just talk bad about me behind my back."

"Makes sense." She replies.

When the teacher walks in. She looks at me and smiles.

"Hola Clase. Tenemos un nuevo estudiante. Su nombre es Julieta. Haga que se sienta bienvenido."

The class doesn't say anything. They just look at her with blank stares.

The teacher then rolls her eyes and begins to explain.

"Hello-"

I then interrupt.

"She said. "Hello, class. We have a new student today. Her name is Juliet. Make her feel welcomed."

The teachers eyes pop out of her head.

"My dad was stationed down in Florida. I learned spanish from my neighbor."

This school year should be fun.
