Life was good.

I mean, life had always been good but at the moment, it was better than it had ever been. I didn't need a magician, a chirologist or a stargazer to tell me who was responsible for that. Sky was the reason and hell yeah, she was a damn good reason.

The name just came to me that day in her office and she seemed to really eat it up. She was as unpredictable as the sky, yet just as beautiful. I couldn't quite explain appropriately the way she made me feel everytime she did the littlest things. I was whipped, I was aware and I still didn't care. There wasn't a reason not to be whipped, she was way too damn perfect.

Her smile was like the sun that comes out after a rainy day. Her laugh sounded like the Heaven's choir, so divine that my soul transcended every single time I heard it. Her face was so beautiful to look at, I was entranced by it. And her body? Fucking hell! She had a fucking fat ass that was proportional to her thick thighs. Her slim waist gave her that hourglass figure that made all her tight fitting dresses drool worthy. She teased me everytime, without even knowing.

Multiple heads turned whenever she walked past the doors of Moonlit Martini Lounge, and it always filled me with the animalistic urge to gouge their eyes out. She wasn't mine yet, but I didn't want them other fuckers looking at her like they wanted to fuck her. Talk about a jealous non-boyfriend.

One of my bar friends told me that he wanted me to introduce her and I damn near bit off Nick's ears. Whenever Corey the bartender flirted with her, I stared him daggers across the bar counter and that spurred the silly man on. The funny part was that Sky was never even aware of the ruckus she caused.

All she did was sit pretty, and the men bit their tongues in lust. I couldn't blame them sometimes, there was no way a straight man would see the jiggle her butt made with every step she took, and not want to meet with her. Too bad, she only gave me attention.

The best part of it all was that she had an amazing personality to back up her incredible physique. Sky was super smart, very funny, quite playful and even though she always put up a cold front, she was a kind soul. A dedicated mother too. I was overjoyed that I was one of the very few people that she trusted enough to show those parts of her. I knew she had an unhappy marriage with her late husband, but I didn't know the details of it since she didn't say that per se.

Whenever I told her some of my crazy tales, she always threw her head back in laughter and her eyes crinkled at the ends in mirth. Sky was really special. All we shared were hugs, jokes and a few innocent touches, yet I always went home with a raging boner.

As water snaked down my body, I decided to put aside my straying thoughts and finally take the goddamn bath. I'd been standing in the shower box for close to an hour and the sunlight was already streaming in from the window. It was Saturday and I had really had no plans of going out, I needed to stay in and sleep away the alcohol I'd ingested from the previous night with Sky. I jerked when a voice called my name, I was supposed to be all alone and only one person knew the passcode of my apartment.

"José." I growled and he appeared at the doorway.

"What's up, man?" He was eating pretzel sticks and his munching sounded like a mechanical grinder.

"What the fuck are you doing here? You couldn't call to let me know you were coming?"

He tossed one of the sticks in the air and opened his mouth to catch it. "I didn't plan to be here either, but Dad came to my house to drag me here. Apparently, they needed me to open your apartment for them. So here I am."

"I really need to change that code." I muttered and he cackled wickedly. "And why are you in my bathroom?"

"Oh, I just came to give you a little heads-up, you wouldn't want to strut in there butt naked cos mom, dad and Mario are in your living room. Amber too." I turned my neck to look at him and say something about that, but he beat me to it. "Don't fucking ask me, I don't know why she's here either. They just all showed up at my doorstep."
