"You look so good when you're like this."

His whisper caused goosebumps to break out all over my body. Considering the fact that I was still trying to come down from an overwhelming orgasm, it was odd that my body could still react to those quiet words. My whole body shivered when his lithe fingers trailed a gentle path down my tear-soaked face, I caught a faint whiff of myself on those fingers that always made me clench my eyes so hard till I saw stars.

"You're so pretty when you cry. So beautiful, so helpless, so pure. Like an angel." His lips pressed lightly against my forehead before moving away to remove the tough restraints that bound my arms at my back. My joints protested internally when I was freed, being confined wasn't a joyride for them.

The man hovering at my back placed wet kisses on the places the restraints were. His aftercare rituals always made me feel like he was in love with me. The tenderness, the affection, the attention- David was a very good lover.

When his palm skimmed over my ass that was still high in the air, I winced and he withdrew it immediately. I didn't need anyone to tell me that my derriere was already covered in welts. The red, leather whip that was responsible for the wicked marks laid a few inches away from me.

"Guess I was little too rough today." He chuckled softly and blew cool air on my butt. Of course it had little to no effect on the searing pain, but I still enjoyed the sensation. "I'm sorry, baby. I'll be nicer next time."

Despite my exhausted state, I shook my head vehemently in protest. I liked everything he did, exactly how he did it. He didn't need to change a damn thing. "No." I croaked out.

"Oh, yeah?"  He laughed and placed a few soft kisses on the swollen skin. "You're such a precious little thing." His voice reduced as if he was talking to himself, rather than to me. "I don't think I could ever let you go even if I wanted to."

"Sky!"

I snapped out of my daydream and focused my attention on the green-eyed man before me. Andre.

"Are you alright? You've been zoning out a lot today. Do you want me to drive you home? Maybe we should take a raincheck."

I shook my head quickly. 'Nah, I'm all good. Just a little stressed, that's all. Nothing I can't handle."

"You sure?" I chuckled quietly at the concerned look on his face. It felt a little too good to be the reason for that, maybe I should zone out a little more often.

Nodding frantically, I pulled him to the front of the queue and gave a smile that I hoped looked reassuring. "Absolutely!"

The guy at the front looked up from his book and grinned when he recognized me. "Hey."

His name was Brody or Bryan, something that started with a B. For the past 4 years, he made sure to flirt with me whenever I came around to ice skate. At first, it was grossly annoying. Probably cos I was still trying to bear the brunt of widowhood then. But once I got over that phase, I realized he was a good kid and that changed my interaction with him. He was still a flirt, but it was all talk.

"What's good?"

He shrugged to say so-so. "How are you doing? When did you come back?"

I felt Andre stiffen beside me. "Uhmmm, before Christmas."

"How's your daughter?"

"Good too." Andre's gaze pierced my skin and made me rush to the business of the day. "We want to use the rink. So two gears."

That was when the Bryson/Bryan guy finally looked at my partner. I didn't know the exact look Andre gave him but from the way Bryson flinched and averted his eyes, it had to be an intimidating one. I ignored the unasked question in his eyes and turned to Andre.
