In this type of business, the most important thing you own is your PDA and phone. So, imagine my irritation and complete anger when I suddenly have my phone taken away from my grip by the one and only, Ryder Greene, the infamous school prankster and known heartthrob. He goes through girls like he goes through a whole Kleenex box, fast and thrown away.

"Greene." I said through gritted teeth. "Can I please have my PDA back?"

I watched him look through my whole calendar and frown. "You're whole November to February is book!"

For a second, I thought he actually cared, until he opened his mouth, smirked and said his words. "Easier for me to mess up your schedule." He then grabbed the stylus off my hand and, much to my horror and dismay, changed my whole calendar.

He threw me the PDA and stylus, which I grabbed before it crashed on the floor. I heave, and opened my PDA and shrieked a string of profanities when I see my calendar.

Everything was so messed up! Not only was there dates changed but their location and services as well. I felt my eyes narrow into a glare and shoot up towards Ryder as my OCD kicks in.

"What. The. Hell. Did. You. Fucking. Do!" I screamed at him, ready to lunge myself to him, when I felt a set of strong arms grip my waist.

"Easy there, cow girl." Carter said, his breath tickling my ear.

"You found her! Thank God!" Kristen said, rounding the corner. "We leave you alone for a couple o minutes and you're ready to kick Ryder's ass."

"He deserves it! That son of a bitch!" I screeched at him, my well manicured hands outstretched towards his face, ready to peel his skin off his muscles.

"What did he do this time?" Carter sighed, setting me down on the floor with his hands on mu shoulder just in case I do something stupid.

"He messed up my calendar! My fucking calendar!" I bellowed.

"If I knew this would irk you so much, I would have done it long before." Ryder chuckled, his ocean blue eyes filled with childish mirth.

I glared my sea green eyes towards him and said, well more like growled, "If you dare touch my PDA again, I swear to God, you won't last the day."

"Easy there, sister. No need to hurt my brother." Kristen laughed.

Yup. You read right. Kristen's last name is Greene and Ryder and Kristen are twins although the look nothing alike.

Kristen has eyes the color of chocolate and her hair is a healthy color of light brown. She's very beautiful, and well sought out by the entire male population of the school. I set her up with a lot of dates and she never found the one until I paired her with Carter. Naturally, they hated each other guts and threw food at each other during their first date. When I finally coaxed-and by coaxed I mean ordered-her to go to another date with Carter, it was like they were a match made in heaven.

Ryder on the other hand had eyes the color of the blue sky and hair as black as the night. He, on the other hand, was well sought out by the entire female population of our school. Our rivalry formed when I found that I could not possibly pair Ryder with anyone. He was too picky and he changed his preferences every single day. How the hell do you pair someone like that. Where do you even get 365 desperate girls?!

"I will butcher him with a butter knife if I have to!" I sadistically growled.

The bell rang, signaling the start of classes. I can't believe that it's only 7:40 in the fucking morning and I'm already stressed out.

"Whatever you say, O'Connor." He smirked. He then gave me a mock, flimsy salute and walked away.

I shrugged Carter's hands off my shoulders and glared at the spot where Ryder used to be. I hate that boy with a burning passion. He's lucky that I have an extra copy in my iPod Touch or else that douche bag isn't going to be so lucky.

I trudge towards my classroom begrudgingly, leaving my two best friends to do whatever the fuck they want.

~❤️~

"Megs, you have to calm down." Kristen said, her voice soothing and calm in an attempt to make me stop rearranging my PDA.

I grabbed my sandwich and tore another piece off ferociously. I didn't bother to grimace because our school, Stonewell High, has the best food. Even if it is Cafeteria Food.

"I will not fucking calm down!" I muttered at her without even looking up from my screen.

I only needed to arrange one more pair and I am done. It's a good thing that Ryder only changed November to February, otherwise, he'd be 6 feet underground.

With a huff and one last tap, I was done. I thought that was going to take forever! Well, in my book it did take forever. I had to waste four subject period and one study hall to fix this. November until March is the busiest months of my young career, especially February. I remember one time when I had to send 1 couple to Paris, France to a romantic dinner to the Eiffel Tower. They eloped the next day...

"Is everything okay now?" Kristen asked, raising her eyebrows skyward in question.

"You tell that demon of your brother to stay the hell away from me and my PDA. I literally have 100 days until Valentine's Day and I am busy as fuck." I scowled.

"100 days, huh?" Ryder mused, sitting beside Kristen.

"Yes. 100 days. I really don't need you to mess it up for me." I sighed, taking another bite of my sandwich.

"Tell you what, O'Connor. Starting tomorrow, you find me the most perfect date and possibly girlfriend to the school's annual Valentine's Day Dance and I will leave you alone for good until the rest of your human life." Ryder smirked.

My first instinct was to reject his offer, but then I actually thought about it. If I actually find him the perfect person, then I'm free from the shackles known as Ryder Greene. But, if I don't find him a date, what will happen?

"What's the catch?" I asked him, raising my eyebrows.

"If you don't fine me a date, you will not only be my date to the dance, but, Valentine's Day 2015 will be hell for you." He smirked again.

"What's in it for me?"

"What do you mean?" He asked, chewing on a piece of rice.

"Being free from you isn't enough. I want more." I said, shrugging my shoulders carelessly, trying to act nonchalantly, when in all reality, my heart was beating out of my chest and adrenaline was coursing through my veins.

"What do you have in mind?" He asked.

I thought about it. If I win this little deal of his, I can have anything from Ryder. Absolutely anything, and that's when the thought popped in my mind.

"You will buy me a new PDA and you'll be my slave every November to February for 5 years." I smirked. That's a good deal.

He frowned, furrowing his eyebrows towards his crease. "Alright fine. But if I win, you'll be my slave from November to February for 5 years."

I thought about it. This is a kind of good deal. I mean, it's just 5 years if I lose. And besides, I can't lose. I'm Megan O'Connor, the best Matchmaker in all of New York. I can do this.

"What do you say, O'Connor? Fancy yourself a deal with the devil?" He smirked, stretching out his hand for me to shake.

If I shake that hand, this will be official and there's no backing down. I literally have 99 days to find Ryder Greene the perfect date and maybe girlfriend, or else Valentine's Day 2015 will be hell.

I glared at the table, over thinking this.

"O'Connor, will you take the deal or not?" He asked.

"Don't take it, Megs." Kristen warned, who watched the whole exchanged silently with Carter.

"Don't do this, Megs. If you take this, there's no backing out." Carter said.

Ignoring my friend's protests, I handed my hand to Ryder's and gave it a firm shake.

"It's a deal." I said.

"Well, good luck, O'Connor because you just made a deal with the devil," He said, his eyes glinting with mischievousness. "and no one wins against the devil."
