My eyes continued to droop down as my Physics teacher continued to drone on and on and on about the fundamentality of, well, Physics.

However, instead of listening to her, all I seem to be able to do is to close my eyes to give it the ability to rest, just so I can be energize for my next period, Math. Unfortunately, just as my will to live and ability to keep my eyes open diminish, there was a sudden rapping on the door.

All eyes seemed to follow the sound as my teacher, Miss Bell, open the door.

The Assistant Principal stood at the otherside of the door, his dark beady eyes scanned the room until they landed on me.

"You." He said in his deep, throaty voice while raising his finger to point at me. "Come with me."

I looked at him in bewilderment. "Me?"

"Yes. You. Come with me."

I hesitantly stood up and collected my things as I felt all eyes on me. I then followed Mr. Foxx as he lead into his office.

"Mr. Foxx, may I ask what this is about?" I said as I tried to keep up with him.

"Ms. O'Connor, I know that this is a terrible inconvenience but a fight broke out in the school parking lot just a while ago." Mr. Foxx explained. "And although I know that you have no idea what happened, we are trying to get to the source of the problem."

"So what does that have to do with me?"

"Well, the people fighting were Ryder Greene and Alex Platten." He replied, as though that should explain everything.

"Again, Mr. Foxx. What does that have to do with me?"

"We believe that they were fighting because of you."

We arrived at his office, where I was met with a horrendous sight.

Ryder and Alex were sitting on the chairs of Mr. Foxx's office. And no, that isn't the bad part. The bad part is how absolutely beat up they look.

Ryder was sporting the world's largest black eye. His lip was split open and bleeding and there was a small cut on his cheek. His face was nearly all blood and bruises and lumps I'm surpise I actually recognize him. But through his swollen eye, he was still glaring at Alex.

Alex wasn't much better either. His nose was bleeding profusely like a blood faucet. He also had a black eye and there were bruises spotted all over his face. His nose was large and bulbous, almost swollen looking.

Both of their clothes were covered in blood and dirt and... oil? Oh. Right. They fought in the school's parking lot...

I entered the threshold of the office and sat in the only available seat left, the one in the middle of both of them.

Mr. Foxx took the seat in front of me and cleared his throat.

"Now, Mr. Greene and Mr. Platten, will you mind telling me what happened?"

"Yeah, Ryder. Why don't you tell us what happened." I hissed out in anger after the initial shock wore off.

"Hey! Why am I the only one receiving shit for this?" Ryder said indignantly.

"Because you're the one that probably started it!" I said, my voice rising.

"For the record, Alex threw the first punch." Ryder said. "How did I start this?!"

I switched my attention to Alex and said, "You threw the first punch?!" I slapped his shoulder repeatedly. "How could you?!"

"Now now, Ms. O'Connor. Now is not the time to... Hurt them even more." Mr. Foxx said nervously.
