Theo and the others began to walk back to the hospital, knowing they would find Beta at some point.
After turning away from Shane, it hit Theo in a way she hadn't experienced.
Was it guilt?
Was it relief?
"Why did I cry?" Theo asked Daryl and Magna as they walked besides her, both looking at one another in slight pity before looking at Theo who was busy staring at her feet.
"You finally get to move on from that trauma that's been suffocating you for years," Magna explained, "It's not like before, you know he is truly gone"
"You get to leave that part of your past behind you" Daryl added as Theo slowly nodded, placing a hand in hers as they continued to carefully and quietly walk through the woods.
"Guys..." Luke whispered as Beta came into view, everyone ducking immediately, hiding themselves out of sight.
"Get in there, stay undetected, take out whisperers first" Theo whispered as she got back into role as everyone placed their hoods up, entering the horde without detection.
Everyone split, they were all by themselves, every person for themselves at this point.
Theo parted from Daryl as she disappeared into the horde, spotting a whisperer, slowly walking up behind it, stabbing them in the throat before slowly walking back into the walkers, allowing them to snack on the fallen whisperer.
Soon enough, whisperers were calling out for help, screaming as they were eaten alive. Circling Beta with unknown fate.
Eventually he grabbed his knives from his holder, knowing that they were in there.
Theo stood besides Daryl as an all too familiar leather jacket on a walker stood behind Beta.
Beta sprinted towards Negan throwing a walker at him, causing him to fall to the ground.
Theo quickly sprinted over to him as Beta prepared to kill Negan.
She jumped on his back, surprising him as she grabbed him tightly in her arms around his neck, leaning backwards, pulling him off of Negan.
As the ground got closer she jumped off, causing him to turn quickly towards her, only to be met with Daryl and his two knives, straight into his eyes.
Daryl removed them as Beta stood, walkers gathering around him.
Negan grabbed the two Dixons off to the side as the three of them stood watch as the man was beginning to be swallowed by the walkers.
Beta fell into a circle of walkers, dying with a disturbed smile on his face.
As if it was planned Negan and Theo both cocked their heads to the side with a confused look on their faces.
