Shane ran for a few miles when he came across an abandoned hut, he laid Theo down before backing away, making sure no one followed them.
Out of breath he stared out of the window, frantically looking outside into the woods outside of the hut, praying no skin freak was around.
He turned back around to be face to face with a knife inches from his nose.
"Where the hell am I?" Theo asked as she got off of the ground, staring directly at Shane, confused as why she was with him when her goal was to be with Daryl and her family as soon as she got home.
"We are a few miles from Hilltop, I was taking us to the meeting point but I have been running for an hour" Shane admitted, collapsing on the ground, rubbing his face frustrated before looking back up at Theo.
"Just because you saved my life doesn't mean you are forgiven" Theo sighed, placing her knife away. "You're trying to hard"
Theo stood looking out the window to see a leather jacket on a walker.
"No" She panicked running outside of the hut. "No, No"
"Well thank god for that, I've been looking for you" Negan smiled as he removed the walker skin from his face.
She first slapped him across the face angrily before staring up at him.
He looked down at her with a smirk before she hugged him tightly, him embracing her.
"Thought you were dead" She sighed in relief.
"Nah, doll. I'm right here" Negan smiled holding her tightly in his grasp.
"The plan?" Theo swallowed the lump in her throat, pulling away.
"You better follow me" Negan smiled before his face turned to a frown, pulling Theo behind his body protectively.
"The fuck you doing here?" He pointed his bat at Shane.
"I-" Shane couldn't speak.
"He got me out." Theo spoke up. "He stays alive for now" Theo lowered Negan's arm as he looked down at her, she had to step in before it escalated, knowing once Negan was on a roll, there wasn't much stopping him after that.
"Alright doll, you're the boss" He winked. "You should probably stay in that hut until we come and get you" Negan gave Shane a dirty look.
"Thank you. Shane. For getting me out. For giving me the chance to see my kids again" Theo hesitantly thanked Shane.
He gave her a small smile, nodding as his eyes fell to the ground.
"You might be a changed person from who you once were. But I do not forgive you. And do not trust you. But..." Theo sighed "You do seem to save my life a lot. So, if you stay there, I promise you won't rot in a cell" Theo looked up at Shane as his eyes began to water.
"Okay... I'll be here" Shane backed up slowly as he headed back into the shed, locking the door behind him as Theo began to follow Negan.
"Lydia?" Theo began, walking beside Negan, looking up at the tall man.
"She is safe..." Negan promised "You, ma little fighter, are going to be waiting in the hut Alpha thinks her daughter is in while I send your husband to the one with Lydia in. The last move in our plan is simple, it just really hurts your hubby in the process." Negan sadly smiled
"You wanna know why I trust you Negan, when no one else might?" Theo continued to walk beside Negan towards the hut in the middle of nowhere.
"Why is that?" He stopped, waiting for her answer.
"Because you are the most real person I might have ever met. Yes, you killed my best friend, which is unforgivable, but you know that. Despite that, you have been there for me a lot more than the people I have been with for a long time. You are real, honest, and a dickhead but it's why I trust you. I know for a fact you have my back, like I have yours" Theo admitted before beginning to walk towards the hut once again.
Negan watched her walk for a moment.
"Thank you doll, I appreciate that, and I trust you too. The most in this world." Negan smiled as they walked into the hut.
"I will be back as soon as I can, but I guarantee she will be the one walking in the hut first" Negan smiled as Theo took her knife from her holder, watching Negan disappear behind the door as she was shut in the shed.
She propped herself next to the entrance.
Waiting...
It was like waiting for a storm.
She knew Negan wouldn't betray her.
But as the silence got louder she grew impatient.
Thoughts of her brother drifted through her mind.
That image of him, beheaded and stuck onto a pole made the anger grow inside of her.
She squeezed her knife tighter and tighter the more she was left alone, that was until finally there were signs of life outside of the hut.
"She is in that hut" Negan's voice grew louder as two pairs of footsteps approached.
"I knew you wouldn't let me down" Theo could practically hear the smile on her face, she thought Lydia was in here.
Who knows what would have happened to her if she truly was in there.
The door opened and Theo couldn't move.
"Where is she?" Alpha asked, turning to face Negan.
Theo finally stepped out into the light, causing Alpha to turn quickly.
"Theo-" Alpha began but Theo wanted to hear nothing coming out of that psychos mouth.
Swinging her arm quickly up to her throat, Theo sliced her neck quickly and cleanly.
Alpha dropped to her knees as she choked, the blood spilled from her throat and mouth, making a lot of mess.
Theo kicked her backwards so she was on her back as Negan and Theo stared over her dying body.
The last images for Alpha to see was Theo, the person she got on the wrong side of, covered in dried walker blood, a knife with fresh blood dripping from it, wearing a black leather jacket, her stomach exposed with a bloody ripped shirt around it.
Standing besides Negan, who looked almost disgusted as he watched her take her final breath.
Alpha finally stopped choking as her heart rate stopped.
Theo looking down in relief...
"Are you happy now?" Negan looked over to Theo, whose stare only stayed with Alpha.
"No..." Theo admitted, finally looking away, "Carl is still dead isn't he?" Theo's eyes watered as she crouched beside Alpha's dead body, taking her knife before pushing it against her throat even harder, removing her head from her body.
"The bag" Theo looked at Negan who grabbed a bag from the hut, Theo lifting the head and throwing it in there, dusting off her hands as she let go.
"Let's go" Theo sighed as she began walking to the rendezvous point her and Carol made.
