Theo and Negan waited at the meeting point for what felt like hours, but in reality, it took Carol an hour on the dot to reach Negan and Theo.
They sat patiently waiting with one another silent company.
"Theo!" Carol finally came into view, running to her.
But Theo didn't move.
"Thank god, oh my god I thought..."
"You thought you killed me? You will have to try harder than that" Theo sighed as she grabbed the bag from Negan's hands, throwing it to the ground allowing Alpha's head to roll out.
Now turned into a walker, Alpha's decapitated head snapped its jaws up at Carol.
"Took you long enough" Carol smirked as Negan laughed.
Theo however was not amused.
"Where's Daryl?" Theo asked, arms crossed.
"He should be back at Alexandria by now." Carol picked up the head.
"Well then let's go" Theo turned, wanting to head home as soon as she could, she still had to stop off and get Shane and Lydia which was not going to be fun for her.
"No. I'm not going back, not yet" Carol began walking away.
"What?" Negan and Theo both yelled.
"Go. Get Lydia. Go home" Carol continued to walk as Theo let out a frustrated grunt.
"You know you really have to start thinking about the people you still have in your life!" Theo yelled, but Carol continued to walk away, holding onto the head of Alpha.
Theo sighed heavily before looking at Negan.
"Let's go get my daughter"
"Right this way" Negan smiled sadly as he walked back to the hut where he left her.
They walked for around 20 minutes, making random small talk, overall enjoying one another company.
Negan unlocked the door to see the chair he left her in empty.
"Shit" Negan panicked only to be smacked across the face.
"Negan!" Theo ran forwards as he was thrown against the wall, only to see the person hitting him was Daryl.
"Daryl" Theo pulled him away, snapping him from his anger.
Daryl dropped his crossbow at his feet in shock.
Looking at Theo in disbelief.
"You're alive..." Was all he said as he walked closer to her, taking her face in his hands before hugging her tightly, not wanting to ever let go of her again.
