They took a long walk back to Alexandria to be greeted by people packing up and getting ready to move out, getting ready for flee their home for the safety of their survival.
"Carol!" Daryl smiled as he ran to her, hugging her, tightly.
"Mom!" Lydia called out, sprinting to her mother.
Theo turned to greet her daughter with open arms, collapsing to the ground as they hugged one another tightly, full of emotion that simply exploded when they saw one another.
"I thought you were dead!" Lydia cried, tears falling from her eyes as she was unable to hold them back.
"No, sweetheart, I'm here." She smoothed her head, "I'm right here" She hugged her tightly as Daryl walked over to them, holding CJ and Libbie.
"Oh my god" Theo sighed in relief, holding onto CJ tightly.
"Theo!" RJ and Judith ran to their older sister, hugging her also.
Her entire family surrounded her with tears of joy, hugging one another tightly.
"I'm so glad you're okay" Judith smiled up at Theo.
Theo's eyes welled with tears as she tried no to think about how hard her death would have been on everyone surrounding her.
"I'm glad I'm okay too. You lot would have eaten Daryl alive" Theo laughed, looking over to her husband.
"Has he not told you yet?" Lydia asked as Judith went to see Negan, only for him to meet her half way so she didn't get too close to Shane.
"Told me what" Theo took Libbie from Daryl holding both babies.
"I asked him to fully adopt me, he is now my official dad. It means I never even have to know who my dad was, I am Lydia Dixon and that is all that matters to me" Lydia smiled gratefully as her eyes wondered behind Daryl, frowning slightly.
"Hey, who is that?" Lydia asked, crossing her arms as Theo and Daryl both looked at one another.
"We need to have a serious chat about a few things." Theo began, "Come on." Theo tried to walk away but Lydia didn't move.
"Thats- That's my biological dad, isn't it?" Lydia looked at Daryl, knowing he would crack first.
Daryl looked to the ground as Lydia looked away from Shane.
"Look, Lydia. He is only alive because I've allowed him to live, for now. He saved my life and Daryl's today, so he gets to live, for now. If you want him dead, just say the word" Theo asked as Lydia shook her head.
"No. No" Lydia snapped "I don't want him dead. I want answers." Lydia began to walk towards him but Daryl stopped her.
"I understand you want answers, but there is no answer you wanna hear. Trust me. Promise me and your mother you will not talk to him. Ever" Daryl sternly asked, hoping she understood the clear instructions she was given.
