Backatory: Mela was the first child of Goku and ChiChi, and their only daughter. To ChiChi she was the perfect daughter for her, that was until Goku started to teach and train Mela to fight which she became far more interested in than anything else. She tried to get a mixture of both training and studying to make sure both her parents would not argue about what she should and should not be. When Gohan was born she felt the burden of having to be the academic one lift as she got older but still had to be an example to her younger brother.
