I feel numb.
I tried to open my eyes but they feel too heavy.
Where am I?
The sound of footsteps got closer to me.
"Has she woken up yet?" asked a familiar voice.
"No."
"Hey is she awake yet?" A new one questioned.
More footsteps came close.
"Stop staring." I said in a whisper.
I heard a few sighs and a grunt.
"How come I can't open my eyes?"
No matter how hard I tried I can't open them.
"Here drink this."
Someone put a straw to my lips and I sucked some nasty liquid.
"What? Are you trying to poison me?!" I sat up abruptly.
Energy flooded trough my whole body. I was in a beige room on a huge bed. Sawyer had been laying with me. The others where towering around the bed.
"Wait! Where are we?"
The boys looked at Leo, who sighed.
"Listen Blair, we had to get you out from the state because we're being followed and you-"
"You fucking kidnapped me." I interrupted Leo's speech.
"It's not like that, we-"
I shook my head.
"As I said before, they wont give you any money for me. So like all the others let me go." I said emotionless.
"That's not what we-" Leo tried to talk.
But I interrupted again.
"Just so you know I will put up a fight." I warned.
Pierce, Sean and Kenneth smiled.
"Would you let me talk? I-"
"Let me go."
I heard a growl.
A growl!
In a matter of seconds Sawyer had me pinned on the wall. One hand holding both of mine above my head and the other covering my mouth.
"Sawyer I didn't know you as the rough type." Pierce joked.
Everyone laughed. Except me of course.
Sawyer shot them a look, their laughter died within seconds.
"You will let him explain." He said to me, voice low and dangerous.
"Now that you wont interrupt I will explain as much as I'm allowed." Leo laughed a bit.
I rolled my eyes.
Sawyer still had me pinned against the wall.
He doesn't trust me at all.
Good thing we share the feeling.
"Well we are here to protect you. Well he is." He pointed to Sawyer and I couldn't help to chuckle.
"You can call him your guardian if you please. He's bound to protect you from anything he finds a threat. The rest of us serve simply as reinforcements. What you experienced at your house was some sort of warning that they are on the look for you. Now we are to stay by your side. Oh and don't worry about school we already enrolled you in a new one, where we, of course, will attend with you." Leo finished with a grin.
