"Alright guys I'm through with this!" I startled them at my sudden out burst.

We were near the football field, eating our lunch which consisted of some weird looking lasagna and some juice. Both Kenneth and Sawyer stared blankly at me. I sighed, pissed for no real reason...or maybe for an old one.

"I think we've, I've been through a lot and not knowing why or anything is annoying the hell out of me. Its ME who you are taking care of so don't you think it'll be fair if we had all our cards out in the open." Sawyer opened his mouth and began to shake his head in denial.

"I do NOT accept a no for an answer. That's a damn order!" I snapped without really knowing what I was saying. Sawyer's eyes widened but reluctantly he nodded. Damn it I promised him I wouldn't do it! Damn it. Well its done.

"Okay I'm waiting."

Sawyer's eye looked hurt. "We are here because your father wants us to take care of you. There's this conflict, sort of, out of nowhere royal families are been attacked. Some are nearly gone and that's brought some fear and rage from the high ups-" he began to cough uncontrollably and I offered him my juice, which he drank down in a blink of an eye. Then realization hit me.

"I don't have a father."

"Of course you do. You just never met him. Lady Katrina and Lord Santiago have always kept their eyes on you. Looking out for your safety." Kenneth said in a flat cold tone. He's pissed.

I let out a laugh. "Right. Since nothing bad has ever happened to me. I've lived the easiest life ever!"

"The one's that are attacking just take those who haven't yet reached the age of twenty. When a Cursed by birth is taken and drained you gain unbelievingly strength and live longer." Sawyer's voice was growing softer.

"Then you definitely got the wrong girl. I don't have any 'Curse' if I did I would've noticed don't you think? I'm thinking you all need to see a psychologist."

"You cant deny what you are. Blair, your legacy only starts to kick in when you turn sixteen. The ones of your type sort of take longer." Kenneth said slowly as if speaking to a four year old.

"So what? I'm supposed to believe all your saying just because?" I snapped at him. Oh how I wanted to rip his head off and hang It on my room to throw darts at it when I felt pissed.

Yeah dark thought.

"Don't turn those black eyes at me, missy!" Kenneth snapped, but I could see worry in his eyes.

"Blair, you're a half breed."

"I'm some sort of animal?"

Sawyer rolled his eyes and tried to speak but no sound would come out of his pretty mouth. He frowned then he looked pissed and then he turned red followed by a twitch of his neck, then as if electrocuted Sawyer fell back flat on his back. Eyes red and jaw clenched. He looked horribly in pain but he would make a sound, not even whimper.

"What's going on Kenneth? Sawyer are you okay? Sawyer answer me goddamn it!" I shook him but he stared blankly at the sky, a tear drop slid down his cheek. Oh god he must really be hurting.

"Kenneth?!"

He looked so calm. "The spell on his neck. He talked to much, it'll be gone in a while."

The darn knot on his neck. Curse whoever did that to him.

"Who am I Kenneth? Why am I so important?" I turned sharply at him, eyes staring intently at his.

"You're the only daughter of the Alberich's, hateful princess Ezra Alberich. One of the few remaining half breeds on their domain. A sorceress and a fairy."
