There was an earthquake, everything was moving violently and I kept falling down. My legs and arms hurt already. To top it all I had the worst headache in the damn world. Strange thing is how I'm just roaming around. Water. Everything was wet. Choking. I'm choking, no space to breath. A very far away voice keeps calling my name and I numbly run towards it. Wait, why am I going to the voice? Its like 'don't go to the light' crap right? In this case don't go to the voice or bad things happen. The voice got louder until I felt my ears were about to explode. Just to scare the crap out of me the loudest scream I've ever heard made my ears bleed and my eyes tear up.
Slowly I was fading, drifting away into...
And I woke up.
"What the hell Eden!" startled and more than pissed to be waken up like this I snapped at the girl next to me. Her eyes were wide just as I remembered. But they weren't scared now, in fact she was glaring at me as if I had murdered her pet. Maybe I should return her to Caedmon.
"Don't use that tone with me. I'm very important and can have you killed if you insult me." very queen like she got up and went into my bathroom.
Furious I got up and banged the door. "I don't care how important you are! I fucking saved your life and the least I expect is a 'thank you'. Oh, I'll like to remind you that this is my house so don't you dare use that tone on me."
With one last punch at the door I walked out and straight to the bathroom in the hall. I washed my face and tried to cool down until that little coward got out of my bathroom and I could shower and change into something more comfortable for breakfast.
Eden took nearly an hour inside the bathroom and came out the same. She didn't take a bath and she stayed there an hour?! Angrily I grabbed some gray shorts and a plain white V-neck. Some underwear and in around half an hour I was ready. Hair pulled up into a pony tail, gloves on, combers on, make up free and stomach empty. I walked to the kitchen to find Eden trying desperately to gain Pierce's attention. He seemed very interested in the wall across from her.
"What are you doing up so early Pierce?" I asked as I opened the fridge and took out some ham, lettuce, mayonnaise and all that stuff you put on a sandwich. Then grabbed the orange juice and poured it in a cup.
Pierce smiled. "Wanted to see your pretty face."
"I think your hungry."
"Guilty. So what you're going to cook me babes?" Pierce hugged me from behind. His chin rested on my shoulders.
"I'm making myself a sandwich, but I feel generous today since you did something good yesterday. So what do you want?"
"Pancakes! Lots and lots of pancakes." he said cheerfully.
"I can help you Blair." Erin said and it startled me, then I saw her hard eyes. Someone's jealous.
"Suit yourself."
"Make sure she doesn't try to poison me." Pierce whispered.
I chuckled. "Right. So did you cal Melanie?"
Pierce stiffened. "Yeah."
"Uh-oh."
"She's a bit hurt that I didn't tell her anything. I mean it was an order from Leo, but I'll work it out." I could hear the worry in his voice.
"Mel cares about you, Pierce. Don't let her go that easily."
"I know." he sighed and held me tighter. Deep inside this boy is so lonely.
"Hands off, Pierce." Sawyer sort of growled.
Pierce moved away and raised his hands as if to show he wasn't doing anything bad. "God, you're so possessive! I'll like to remind you I'm dating Mel. I wont touch your chick." he rolled his eyes.
