Then I saw them.
Three men.
Perhaps ten to fifteen years older than me and wearing all black.
I mentally groaned.
Do they seriously follow me everywhere?
Well now they have me, so what now?
One of them was holding something in a white bag, and then he set it down on the table that was in the middle of the dungeon. The other two just followed. I stared at them expectantly, ready for anything.
Or so I hoped.
They talked in a different language and I could only stare. Then I decided to do something useful. I roamed my eyes everywhere looking for an escape route; it'll be needed if I got free.
No such thing, the same way in and out. That's a problem.
They stopped talking and looked at me. I scowled.
"We finally have you. How is it like to feel useless?" One of them said in a thick accent. I couldn't place the nationality.
"I'm not-" I stopped because he is right, I am useless.
For some strange reason I couldn't command any of the elements or use the telekinesis.
"There's a spell on those cuffs, you won't be able to fight girl." The same man smiled wickedly and dropped all the contents of the bag on the table.
I swallowed and my heartbeat went on a rampage.
Then the other said: "This is going to be fun."
(Sawyer's POV)
Blair was acting very strange.
Her eyes have being roaming the house for the past hour.
She hasn't eaten.
The strange part is that now she wants to read the old books, the ones that teaches you about spells. The ones we used to learn how to help her control her elements. She never wanted them, so why now? She also wants to train, that's so not her.
"Hey baby, bring me some water?" Pierce winked, knowing that she wouldn't fall for it.
We all were shocked when she nodded, disappeared into the kitchen and then came back with a glass of water and handed it to Pierce.
What did just happen?
I mean even Pierce looked reluctant as to drink the water.
He narrowed his eyes at her. "Did you put something in it?"
"No." There was something in the way she said that... it wasn't right.
"Whatever, I don't trust you." Pierce went to the kitchen. He probably threw the water away and poured a new glass.
"Blair, are you okay?" I asked her.
"I'm fine!" She snapped.
What made me uneasy and slightly upset was that she hadn't, not even once, gotten close to me. She hasn't given me a hug, held my hand or kissed me. I mean she hasn't shown any sort of affection towards me like she usually would.
What is going on?
(Blair's POV)
I let out an ear piercing scream.
The metal burned my leg.
They had put the knife on top of fire and let it heat then one of the man placed it over and over my leg. Oh but that wasn't all. I already have several cuts and probably a black eye.
