Kim's POV:

I was the first to come in the music club. I hold my guitar and sit in the corner near the front door. I think for a minute to which song I should be playing today.

I start playing the song I was working on for a few months now. It's still incomplete as every time I sing this song, I felt like something is missing. Well, it supposed to be a sad love song. But the thing I want to express is still missing.

I place my guitar on my lap and sing the lyrics but stop in just two minutes.

Creak!

I look up as someone entered in the club. For a second, I didn't know how to act when Amy enters. I tilt my head in half question half confusion.

"Ummm..." She thinks for a second "You are wasting your time." She say or maybe blurted out.

"..." I furrow my eyebrows. Excuse me?

"Excuse my interruption but I heard the song you were singing and I can't stop myself from telling you that... I can't feel your lyrics. No offense but you're ruining it."

I stare at her - half admiring her frank honesty - for a solid minute, while comprehending what she wants me to do. When she sees me quiet, she steps back and turn as if she's leaving.

"Stop!" Well, that come out loud. She blinks for a second then smile a little.

"I get it... what you just said. So... any suggestions?" I ask in my raspy voice.

She looks a little surprise. I bet she didn't expect that. I wait patiently for her to say something about my music.

"It's an original song, right?" She asks, I nod in yes. She thinks for a second before starting. "The lyrics are sad and good. The music you were playing on your guitar, I like the tune. And your voice..." She pauses "Well, that's everything but" She continues casually, making me smile a little. "I think it's supposed to be a sad song. Maybe a sad love song?"

She waits for me. Was that I question?

"Yes." I say shortly.

"Tell me, what were you thinking while writing this song." She leans on the door and cross her arm like she has all the time in the world. I momentarily glance at some papers she's holding in one hand.

"This song is about a guy who likes someone but can't be with him." I say "Let me put it in another way..." I arrange the idea behind the song.
"It's a song about a boy who loves the other guy and that other guy - even though he knew the boy's feeling - he can't reciprocate it." I try to explain.
"This song is from the perspective of the guy." I add.

Sheesh, I never feel the urge to facepalm myself this much. What's with this explanation?

Amy nods a little as if understanding what I just try to say.

"Can you please sing it again main verse or from the start?"

"Sure." I start to play my guitar. I sing for a minute and she hold her hand up to stop me.

"I've got a feeling, correct me if I'm wrong. Is there an element like the boy fell first but the guy fell harder?"

I freeze at her question. "That was the point, I wanted to explain" I chuckle lightly "and express." I add casually.

She looks happy to hear that. "Well, in that case continue singing." She motions me with her hand. I did as she asks, only to get stop for a second time.
