The Real Virtuality

First catches

On the route getting there, we managed to get pretty strong, Atleast to fight the first gym, apparently there was more rules that we didn't know of. When we got to the next town, the shop keeper told us more about the rules once we got access to pokeball.

We only get access to money whenever we beat a gym leader or trainers (there wasn't many on routes tho)
If our whole team faints at any moment, except for friends battles, we are disqualified from the game. So as long as one pokemon remains alive then we are fine. You get to heal them back up after.
With the money being so cut short, we need to be careful with what we buy,  we have to make sure not to spend too much on pokeballs and more on potions and revives. So we all agreed to only catch 1 pokemon per routes each and not go on a catching spread. I hated that since I loved to collect as many pokemons as I could but it was for the sake to stay in the game longer.
Oh! Also, team battles are allowed in gym battles but the opponent will be using the same amount of pokemons.

With those rules, we got all 5 potions, 5 pokeballs, 1 antidote and 2 revives each until we get to the next town. Good thing there wasn't any gyms in this city, the real challenge will be in the next. We made sure everyone was ready before we went forward to the next route.  Most of us were focusing on getting EXP, I personally was trying to find a new partner with eiichi. We scouted around the area we were in, not too far to not lose the others.

Something caught my eye as I noticed a little sewaddle sleeping on a rock, I immediately sneaked over to it and quietly used a pokeball on it. "My first catch with success! And I didn't even need to battle it! Welcome to the team leaf!" I exclaimed showing it off to eiichi "good job little mouse! Now is my turn, look"

I glanced over in the direction eiichi was sneaking too a ducklett who was drinking from a pond. Before it could turn around, eiichi threw the pokeball at the back of its head catching it. "Let's goooo! I'm naming this one Canary" I laughed a bit "you learned that from duolingo?" "Yep!" (Canary means baby duck in French)

Back to the others who set up a camp since night was approaching. Eiichi and I rushed back and showed off our cool new mons "wow! Good job guys! But look at this!" Nez grinned as he let out a sandile "I got myself a Croco, meet Big Crocs." He said with confidence. "Wow! Good job!" Malt was still nearby killing anything he saw with his charmander to level it up as much as possible. "Maltttz, you gotta catch something too!" Zalgo remarked to him. He sighed a bit as he just tossed one of his pokeball at a random Mareep to shut them up "happy? Good. You know what, that's her name, Happy." He then proceeded to keep killing everything in his part. "Please don't burn the forest down"

We settled down at the camp later as some of them had to get off for the night. We agreed to not battle the gym until the others came back on the next day. Nez, jazzie and mike left for the night. Lost was close to also getting off but he wanted to find a pokemon to catch first, looking around the bushes he found the perfect one and immediately battled it to get it in the yellow before catching it. He came back to us and showed us a Deerling. "Ohhh! Nice one! Isn't it one of your favorites?" I asked to which he nodded "yea, I love deer pokemons." "What you gonna name her?" Eiichi asked curiously. "Darling" he chuckled. "Fair enough" zalgo said responded.

"Late, zalgo, you didn't catch one yet, no luck?" I turned to them while I ate a berry. Late shrugged a bit " there's nothing I want yet" as for zalgo, she said the same as late. Oh well, maybe in the morning will be better?" We decided to take a break here, well I would sleep in the tent they helped set up while they went offline. I looked towards Malt who was still going around farming EXP, his charmander was already a charmeleon at this point. "Dude, you should probably stop and get rest, you'll overlevel your pokemon and it won't listen to you." I tried to reason with him. All he did was turn back to me with a cold stare and switched out Odex with Happy and began training her up instead. "Fine then, be stubborn" I gave up before going to sleep
