Set on the third route to the second city, we went through a cave, the cave was damp as there was rivers going along the path. There were lanterns hanging from the ceiling to show us the path. Apparently this cave wasn't that long but we still had a bit to go through. "Zalgo you need to get yourself a pokemon now, same for you late! Just anything" jazzie recommended. Zalgo sighed before she agreed, looking around the cave she saw the glimps of a green figure with wings. Was it a flygon? No way. Zalgo threw the ball at whatever it was, a dragon type would be amazing. She somehow caught it first try. I mean if it is a flying type, it could kill her turtwig right away.
Late went on ahead to see if he could get anything himself aswell while we were focused on Zalgo's catch. Picking up the pokeball and taking out her catch to find a green Goldbat. "HEH!? WHAT IS THAT!" Nez's eyes went wide "NO FUCKING WAY! This game gotta be rigged!!" Lost even stared speechless for a while before going down to zalgo "that is a shiny goldbat you just got." "I don't want ittttt, it's uglyyyy" she whines. "I meannn I could take it from your hands" Nez suggested with a grin. "No, my shiny. I guess I'll keep it since it's rare." She got it back in the pokeball "I'll just call it Moss"
Late's POV
On my way alone, I wasn't going too far deep, just far enough to find a way better interesting pokemon, "man I hate that I couldn't have turtwig."I said to myself. But I can't be too displeased with a Totodile, still a good type match whenever he will evolve. Something caught my attention, behind a rock came out..a turtwig!? No way. In a cave? Oh fuck it, it's a weird coded game anyway. I immediately threw out Willow and attacked the turtwig to lower his HP. Surprisingly, it wasn't a turtwig but a ZOROA? "That's even better!!" I managed to get it in the red before catching it "hellooooo Zoey ." I said with excitement.
Clapping was made coming towards my way "wow! That's amazing late" it was mike who came over with Lost who had a Male Indeedee walking next to him. "Oooo nice one Lost." "Thank you kindly, I named him Yaku, also zalgo caught a shiny goldbat" I was caught off guard by that sentence "another shiny!? Jesus what is the shiny rate in this game?" Lost shrugged as the others got to us.
Mousey seemed very happy about something, oh? She must've caught something with how excited she was holding that pokeball and jumping around "Late! Late!! Look!!" She called out her pokemon "come out puppet!" A shuppet showed up just floating around her. "OOoO nice! Well guess what, I just caught myself a zoroa" I said proudly. "Lucky!!"
Nobody's POV
They exited the cave, to be welcomed In a fresh area with small ponds around right before gate that was near them. Jazzie Had caught herself an horsea that was living in one of those ponds naming it Ponysea. Everyone took a small break near the gates to train up before the next gym, nobody knows what typing the gym is until you get to it, so they had to get ready for anything.
Everyone was pretty much well trained anyway from the first time,
Mousey's Quaxly evolved into Quaxwell
Lost's Treeco evolved into Grovyle
Late's Totodile evolved into Croconaw
Nez's snivy evolved into servine
Eiichi's Litten evolved into Torracat
Mike's sobble evolved into Drizzle
Jazzie and Zalgo's starters were very close to evolving, after this gym they were sure to evolve.
They entered the gym to which was Water type. Nobody was really at a disadvantage here, except for maybe Jazzie who Stuffed wasn't high level enough to take care of the gym himself. "Don't worry hun, you can fight with me" Nez patted her head.
Mousey's POV
The gym went well once again, jazzie and Nez got their badge together, Lost easily got his win with Senan and so did zalgo with LilTurt. Late and eiichi Duoed for their badges and I had Leaf to KO the gym's poliwag. In return, she evolved into a swadloon "YAYYY! Let's go leaf! You did it!" I picked her up snuggling her, feeling the touch of a real pokemon even if it was a game graphic was still nice. They didn't really have their own AI IQ but still pretty nice, it's like a dream...well..all of this always feels like a dream..Mike went after me without any trouble because he had Sun.
Malt came in, he had a Flaffy that evolved from the Mareep he had caught, so it wouldn't be trouble. Wait. He's using charmeleon?? "Dude, you know ur Pokémon's weak to water right? It's gonna get killed." Nez pointed out. "Shut up, didn't ask" he responded. The gym leader sent out a Quagsire, malt didn't seem to worried "do you know how to even play pokemon?" Mike asked "just know you could end it easier if you use your electric type" even with that he didn't listen, god his stubborn. "Odex, use dragon breath." And with that, he one shot killed the quagsire. Okay I guess seeing that his pokemon was basically level 32, helped him a lot. But I didn't know he could learn a dragon type move this early on.
"How!? Where did you get him to learn that?" Late asked confused. Malt turned to him after getting his badge "I found a TM last night" he said blankly and walked out "anyway let's go-" "wait, we should just go log off in the center, it's late for us. Let's get back tomorrow alright?" Zalgo asked as it was indeed almost midnight. "You're right, you all have a goodnight!" I gave them all hugs tho some of them stayed with us to chat before they went off too. Malt stayed outside the center training, he didn't want me to come see as he said it was a surprise. I wonder what he's hiding now.
