They were all taken back this question in disbelief. Lost almost lost his balance before he sat down again holding his head. "No way..."
Eiichi spoke up "it's us! You're family! Don't you remember?" Mousey looked at each single one of them and shook her head. "This is bad.." Late said covering his mouth a bit while thinking "but it would make sense...maybe it's only temporary, don't worry I'm sure with some time, she'll regain her memories" he tried to reassure them.  Mousey slowly stared at them for a good while before she looked at her hands and then slowly got off the bed onto her feet. It felt like a baby trying adventure themselves on their own after gaining the consciousness to walk.

Late's POV

This is certainly a turn of events we weren't thinking at all. Theres for sure a chance to remember it all, if she had lost them for good.. I turn to look at Malt who was just standing there still in disbelief, I think he's also thinking this out. If she were to lose every memories...who that affect him too in some way? "Hey Malt you good bud?"  He turned to look at me "depends what you mean by good." He said quietly. I mean, I'll take that he didn't get too much affected to the brain.

"Mousey, what do you remember?" Lost asked in a serious tone. She stared at him for a good minute before shrugging "I'm not sure...everything is pretty blank! But I know that I'm hungry!" She said with a smile.  Of course, Atleast she didn't lose that appetite. Eiichi went off to the kitchen of the place grabbing some toasts for her. While that was happening, I pulled Lost to the side "I know this is a little hard on you, but I'm sure this is temporary, we should try to just teach her who we are Atleast for now until she gets her memories back"

He sighed as he agreed. "What if it takes more than a few days? What if she never gets them back?" He said in a worried tone. I put my hand on his shoulder to reassure him "then we will keep trying until she does, she must have some sort of trigger and we will find it sooner or later. We went back to them to see Mousey communicating with Tainted. It seemed like he was introducing himself. "Well for starters, I'm Tainted and uh, we met in a game called Blackout. You and I kinda had a little exchange during the game. We didn't get to really talk much because you were pull out but I would love to get to know you" Mousey grabbed his hand shaking in as she was pleased to meet him. "It would be awesome!" She exclaimed.

Lost came over and went on his knees to face her "hey mouse, we're going to slowly try to help you get your memories back alright? In the meantime..My name is Lost, I am your grandfather. We are all part of a big family and we care a lot about each other. "My grandfather? So..I have a mom and dad too?" She got excited. "Yes you do, they aren't here right now but I'll tell them to come whenever they can." Whenever lost went to text the others that Mousey was awake, Eiichi and I came forward to her. "My name's Eiichi and you found me in the bottom of an infinite staircase and took me in as the family dog" he chuckled. "Dog!?" She got surprised "but you're human..sortish-?" "Don't worry, it's just a title that I have, you actually came up with that and everyone went along with it." She seemed reassured. She looked up to me, I would totaly do a funny thing. Oh I should do a funny thing. "I'm your child. You gave birth to me." "OI?!" Lost looked back concerned. I burst out laughing, mousey clearly seemed confused and worried. "I-I gave birth!?" She said panicking "no no, I'm messing with you. I'm Late, your brother" I smiled patting her head gently. "Oh! That's better" she chuckled softly.

Weeb and Jack immediately entered the room before rushing to Mouse. "MOUSEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYY" Weeb screamed before tackling her into a hug. I'm so glad you're okay!!" She exclaimed almost on the urge of tears. "Are you my mom?" She asked while being squeezed in a hug. I laughed a bit before Weeb pulled away a bit "huh?!" Lost went over to them "she's doing okay but the bad news is that she lost her memories. We're introducing ourselves while she regains it back" Weeb got off mousey as she understood "I see..well no I'm not your mother, I'm actually Jazzie's sister so you're aunt."

"Jazzie? Who is Jazzie?" Mousey asked. Lost pat her shoulder "that is the name of your mother, she should arrive soon." "Oh! Then..what is your name aunt?" She gave a bright smile. "You can call me Weeb, and this is your uncle, Jack" she pointed to Jack who came up and waved. "Aunt Weeb and uncle Jack! My family is awesome!"

I noticed that Malt was staying away from all the commotion. Mousey soon got her eyes in him and went over "and you? Who are you?" Malt looked down at her silently glaring at her. It's like he was offended but knew it wasn't her fault. I went over seeing that was getting tensed from his glare. "It's all right Mousey, his name is Malt, he's-" I was cut off before I could say what he was "another of your brother." I could see in his eyes that he didn't want to explain the full thing to her just yet. I guess it would be sorta difficult to understand at first. "Yeah, he's our brother"  well technically he wasn't really wrong. "Oh! Okay!" She gave a bright smile. She went to the door of the room opening the door. There wasn't anything outside but a blank space as it was supposed to be locked. She stared in confusion before looking at Weeb and Jack "isn't this where you two came from?"

Lost got up before realizing, she has no clue she's in a game. He went to her getting to her leave. "Mouse, in this world, we transport ourselves using portals to different places." He explained. "Really? That's awesome! How can I make a portal to outside?" Lost looked over at the others before back at her "see..I think you must have a phone on you...from what I've seen you do. You should be able to look through all the worlds" Mousey looked through her pockets to pull out a phone as she scrolled through it. She got excited as she pressed some buttons and a portal to a world called "HellCoaster" was placed down. "Like that?" She looked back at them. Somehow the name seemed familiar to them. Malt stared at the portal as a glitchy feeling went through him and soon he started to have PTSD memories holding his head "no no no. Not again. Not there. Anywhere but there." We we're never told the name of that world but HellCoaster was definitely the same place where we almost lost Malt.

Mousey was confused but immediately clicked another portal before it set down a would you rather world. "This sounds fun!" They all agreed that it's a way better choice and all went through it.
