3 days has passed since the bar incident, Malt was out cold for a full on day, I never really see him sleep that much and it was for the best we let him sleep for as long as he wished. Whenever he did wake up, he was back to his normal self, he didn't seem to remember much to what happened nor did he want to remember. I did recall Late pulling him to the side for a bit to question him but when they came back Late said it'd be best if we wait a few more days for his thoughts to slowly come back to him before rushing the questioning and that his lips were going to remain seal until then. Which is completely understandable.
We spent the other days to just our normal hang outs in worlds, we played lots of freeze tag or hide and seek aswell. We didn't want to rush into killing games yet since we wanted to let Malt rest up his...heavy killing method. Yesterday while everyone else was offline and Malt was relaxing, I was invited by an old friend of mine, I haven't seen them in a long time and well I really wanted to see them. "Hey Malt? Is it alright if we go see someone for a few minutes?" I asked him. He was just upstairs Doing whatever he was doing. "Sure why not, as long as they don't start up shit"
I told him we'd be careful and it wasn't public anyway. I set a portal down and we went through whenever he got down to it. We were taken to a world, where the lobby was a circular wooden room with a big red circle carpet on the floor. Up ahead was another room with the same kind of walls and decorations except the carpet was now blue. There was a couch sitting near a fire place on the left and a big board right infront of it. Above the board the word "BLACKOUT" was written on it. It was indeed the world's name. Looking around, they didn't seem to have anyone until "Boo." A random jumpscare came from behind us. A huge dark shadowed deer figure was just standing there laughing. "DOLBACK! YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUTTA ME!" I said as I was holding where my heart was at. Malt was hissing quietly, even he got startled and he hated it. "Sorry sorry! I had too! It used to be so much fun when we first met" he chuckled. "It has been so long, geez where have you been!?" I asked him getting over the fact I almost had a heart attack. There were a few ppl inside the game playing but I wasn't really paying attention to them. The game caught Malt's attention as he entered to learn about it while I was discussing with Dolback .
This Tall beast was one of the first ppl I had met when I used to play on computer when I was still alive..well technically I am alive but hey you know what I mean. Anyway, one day he had crashed and told me terrible news that his computer had completely destroyed itself and he wasn't going to be back until he could afford a new one. I thought I'd never see him again since it took almost 2 years. "Well I'm glad to be back and it seems like you also upgraded, look at you with full body. Lucky you" I rubbed the back of my neck a bit nervously "y-yeahhh, lucky me..." I'll make sure to tell him later.
"Anyway, come! Look at this game, it's a secret premium only game that I was able to get access too. The game's very fun, it's like murder and TTT but way better and unique I would say. I don't have many friends in here so don't worry! We're like 5" I didn't want to stay for too long especially when it was a game involving stabbing but seems like Malt was already having a blast with the game. Also he didn't give me much of a choice since I didnt get the chance to tell him about my case. Let's just play it very safe then.
The match started to everyone being separated in rooms, it was like a hotel kind of place just like murder 4's place, multiple weapons were scattered for anyone to pick up to defend themselves. I wasn't much fan of holding one because I thought it'd put a big target on my back. I stayed mostly in closets whenever the lights would go out. So here's a little fact about the game, it wasn't called "blackout" for nothing. At any given time, the whole place would go dark and that would give access to everyone to attack so as long as I stayed hidden and quiet, I would be fine, right?.
At some point it turned the lights back on, which was my time to go out and find keys to escape. All I saw was a bunch of bodies on the floor that showed they were killed. I was the last one wasn't I. I heard the familiar clock chime noise and immediately booked it into a closet locking it. I had no weapon nor anywhere to run. The door started to shake as you could feel fear rise up your spine. The moment the door flung opened, all I could see were red glowing dots and purple light. I screamed "w-wait wait!!" begging for mercy once I saw whoever it was about to just smash my head in with a baseball bat.
The figure stopped rather confused on why I was dramatically begging for mercy. The lights turned back on and I could see again. There he was, standing there. Someone with a ramattra avatar was just there holding a baseball bat just staring in silence and looking around confused. He wasn't sure what to do since I was just curled up in a corner like a lost animal in distress. "Hey hey, calm down, it's not like I'm harming ya, don't worry if you want I can do it gently if you have phantom pain." He offered. That was the most surprising response I wasn't ready to get. But I liked that method better. He signaled me to get closer keeping the bat close up to him as the clock chimed. "Don't worry, just like small tap" he said before gently placing the bat on my head. Good thing the game counts it as a death. It was painless and like that he had won.
Malt chuckled from behind "mouse, you should probably look behind you" The demon's voice caught my attention before to see Lost standing there with his unemotional look of shame as I knew I wasn't supposed to go out without anyone else being around. "L-looost! H-heyy! I swear everything is okay! I-I just came to meet an old friend and it just happened that I got dragged in the game and-" I didn't get to finish before he pulled me out of the lobby with malt following behind going through a portal. I looked back to see dolback waving bye and that same person who I encountered in the closet. Too bad I guess this is goodbye already...or is it?
