The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

Everything was shrouded in darkness. Akira wondered if this was what death felt like. Silent, alone, and...soft? Soft, smooth like a cloud, softly cradling her weak body. The unexpected softness made her perplexed.
Upon opening her emerald stone eyes, she was greeted with the sight of black and grey co-ordinated furniture and walls. Shakingly rising on her elbows, her head spun, pieces of furniture multiplying in her vision. Akira shook off the sudden dizziness, steadying herself on the headboard. She took notice of her perfectly healed body, some part of her felt shocked. She remembered the searing pain spreading throughout her whole body, but this body felt different. More alive and rejuvenated.
She stared in wonder, there was no evident pain or dulling agony. Does this mean she survived and was transferred to the hospital in time? Although this should have been wondrous news, Akira felt her heart drop. A part of her, most of her, was more than ready to embrace death and be reunited with her lost love.
Shaking those thoughts away, Akira decided to tend to the thirsty monster in her throat. She stretched her now fully rested body. Her figure was admirable and beautiful, with clear snow-kissed skin and her facial features were stunning. But the most special part of her was her green eyes that shined like emeralds. Akira felt drowsy and donned a shirt found randomly in the closet.
Yawning, she walked with half-lidded eyes, paid her appearance no mind. This was her villa anyway; she could do whatever she pleased. Akira scratched her eyes as she strolled down the hallway, her mind formulating reasons and explanations on how she survived that ordeal; she was certain she was doomed. Akira was lost in her thoughts and did not notice one of Ethen's men exiting a room.
He noticed her immediately, he paused and instantly his face flushed. He retracted his eyes, he said in a panic. ."GOOD MORNING MISS LANYING!".
As soon as he said that he turned hastily and flew in the opposite direction as if terrified.
Akira: " ....."
'What just happened?'
She stared at the spot he stood and then the direction he left.
'Is he on freaking drugs 'She shook her head and strolled down the silver-coloured staircase. As she walked, she sensed eyes on her, making her skin trickle with an unwanted feeling. Akira scanned the workers with a glare, making them lower their heads, even the guards refused to look at her. She could feel their prying eyes and weird glances, the creeping feeling getting on her nerves. Akira's brows furrowed, she rolled her eyes and ignored them. The feeling followed her to the kitchen when her thirst was quenched, she walked back to her room but encountered Albert, conversing with a man she did not recognize. She approached them, and as soon as they noticed her, their faces turned red and they turned away quickly like even one more look would kill them, they completely ignored her existence.
Akira:" ......."
'Even Albert !?' Do I look like some murderer?"
'WHAT THE HELL?!'
Akira's nonchalant expression cracked, her irritation evident. She was getting pissed. Everyone was acting as if they were walking on eggshells.
"Can somebody explain to me what is going on?! All of you have been acting like I am about to kill you! Answer me!"
This was directed at everyone, they knew they angered her, however, the servants were stuck in a tight situation, On one hand, if they upset her, they would be punished, but on a much darker note, if they looked at her...
