Chapter 6

So it has been a few months and the gang are all in Ricky's pool during summer break. And by the gang I mean Ricky, Nini, Gina and EJ.

Everyone is laughing at something, it is probably how EJ belly flopped onto the water.

Ricky gets and quickly goes inside to get Lemonade. Except when he got to the kitchen that was not what he got.

"NINI." he shouts and within a few seconds Nini is by his side and she aswell looks horrified and shocked. She looks away from the scene to Ricky and he has tears streaming down his face.

There in front of them is his mom Lynne with her face whiter than snow. Beside her is a man sporting the same expression as Ricky's mom. His arms around her waist  and her around his neck. His mom's hair is messy and her lips are swollen.

"Mom your cheating on dad?" Ricky's voice comes out broken and sad. "Of course I am. Your father can not satisfy my needs and you are both a waste of space." she says and tears stream down his face.

Nini was not going to let anyone talk to Ricky like that, even if it is his own mother. "He and Mike are not a waste of space. He is the best person to walk on this planet and him and Mike don't deserve what you just said and what you have done. I think you should leave and take this man with you." Nini says standing in front of Ricky with one hand holding his.

"Uh who do you think you are? You can't kick me out of my house." Lynne says to Nini. "I am Ricky's Best Friend who will not stand here and watch you hurt him" Nini tells the older woman.

"You worthless piece of trash. Your no good for Ricky. You are just a fa-" Lynne says and Ninis eyes fill with tears. Before she can finish the front door opens and aghe first thing Mike sees is the girl he sees as a daughter crying.

He rushes to her put stops when he sees the full kitchen. His son and daughter (not biological) crying and his wife in the arms of another man. "Lynne?" he questions.

"Mike it is not what it looks like." she tries. He looks to his son and bends down beside them both. "What is going on guys." he asks.

"She was kissing the man when I cam in. I called Nini as soon as I saw. Then she said that you can't satisfy her and that both you and I are a waste of space. Then Nini said that we aren't and that maybe mom and the man should leave. Then she called Nini a worthless piece of trash. " Ricky said still crying.

Mike turns to his soon ex-wife "You did what? I don't care what you say about me but never ever speak about MY son and Nini like that again. He is not a waste of space and she is not a worthless piece of trash. She is the best thing that has ever happened to our son. Now I am going to drop the kids off at Sarah and Cameron's and then we will have a talk. Also I think your friends should leave. "he says before turning to Ricky and Nini.

" How about you two go pack some clothes and Ricky's necessities so he can sleep over for the rest of the week. I will call the other two and then we will go to Ninis okay? "he says and the two kids nod their head.

Everthing was about to change for the Bowens and everyone could feel it.
