Chapter 14

"REALLY RICKY." Nini shouts at the boy. He runs a hand over his face. "NINI I SAID I WAS SORRY ABOUT FORGETTING OUR HANGOUT . WHY CAN'T YOU JUST FORGIVE ME." He screams back.

"BECAUSE THAT IS FOURTEENTH TIME THIS MONTH AND IT IS ONLY THE SIXTEENTH." She yells. This is true and it is because of one reason or should I say person.

"I SAID I WAS SORRY. I GOT CAUGHT UP HANGING OUT WITH ANASTASIA."He shouts at her. And there is the reason

Anastasia.

Anastasia is perfect. She has beautiful blue eyes and long blonde hair. Her body is the perfect figure and her voice is beautiful.

"I am going to go." Nini says walking towards the door. She has tears running down her face. Ricky tries to stop her but she pushes his hand off.

If only Ricky had shown up to that hangout, he might have gained a girlfriend but now he lost his best friend. Of course he doesn't know that.

Nor does he know who Nini had bumbed into on the walk back to her house.

It was the next day. Nini hasn't slept, she couldn't, she was thinking about how the person she loves doesn't love her back.

She had decided that she wasn't going to talk to her or make any plans with him. It is not like it would change anything. He would be talking to Anastasia or hanging out with Anastasia.

Now you might think she is overreacting but that last hangout she had planned to tell him she loved him and ask him to go with her to meet her grandmother.

Her grandmother. She never met her because she wanted nothing to do with her son or his family. She had reached out to her son, Nini's father saying that she would like to meet Nini before she dies.

She said she was infected with lung cancer and the doctors didn't give her much time to live. Nini wanted to meet her with her favorite person by her side but he was with Anastasia.

That brings us to where they are right now. Nini with red puffy eyes, wearing a black pair of ski pants and Ricky's grey hoodie. With her hair in a messy bun and only mascara on her face.

And Ricky with a huge smile on his face, wearing his Red East High hoodie and blue jeans and his hair in perfect shape and not one hair out of place. Anastasia standing next to him.

Of course he is fine. He is with her. Nini grabs her books and walks away with a new set of tears.

Back with Ricky. Anastasia has her hand in his hair, playing iwth it and he has a big smile on his face.

Nini thought nothing could separate them but she guesses she thought wrong. While he is still her everything, it is clear with the missed hangouts and the fights that she is not his anymore.

Maybe their say you won't let go was only for awhile. Maybe it was only for a certain time and they were actually supposed to let go.
