This imagine takes place in season 3
The aftermath of the barn being overrun killed the group entirely. With your mom Lori pregnant, the whole group became tense.
The group was moving east. That's where you found the prison. The prison was overrun, but nothing the group couldn't handle.
You didn't know how long it's been since you all discovered the prison but it felt safer than anywhere you have been so far. This is something you wanted to keep forever.
It was daytime and you, Daryl, Rick and Glenn were coming back from getting firewood for the nighttime.
Rick opens up the wire opening for you to get inside, followed by everyone else. You set down the firewood to witness Beth, Hershel, Carl and Lori walk out with Hershel on crutches for the first time.
You smiled widely. "Now would you look at that. He is one tough son of a bitch." You chuckled.
"Hey." Rick in a tone told you to watch your language but immediately laughed.
You caught your eyes with Lori and smiled slimmer to her. You finally felt safe in this world and finally you had found a place you could call home.
Everyone shared a moment. Carol with T-Dog. Rick and Lori, you and Carl. Everyone looked at each other with love and happiness.
You turned your back for a moment to pick up the firewood.
Suddenly, you heard Carl screech. "Walkers! Watch out!"
Your eyes widened to walkers coming from behind them.
"No!" You ran around the gated pathway as you kept your eyes on them the whole time. "Dad!" You yelled back as your feet were running as fast as you could.
Hershel and Beth ran up some stairs to get behind a gate from the outside. Carl was fighting off the walkers to protect Lori.
"Get out of there! Get out of there!" Rick yelled from behind you to Carl and Lori.
T-Dog, Maggie and Carol came from where they were and pulled out their weapons and began to fire one by one.
"Mom! Carl!" You screamed as you kept running as fast as you could with Rick, Daryl and Glenn behind you.
Once you reached the gate, you needed the keys to get inside where the walkers were.
"Keys!" You yelled to Glenn. He stumbled to get them out of his pocket. He didn't do well under pressure. He tosses them to Rick and Rick runs over to the gate and struggled to unlock it.
"Dad! Hurry!" You screeched at him.
You glanced up and realized that Beth and Hershel were protected by a gate in front of them while Carol and T-Dog kept on fighting the walkers off.
The gate finally unlocked and without even checking your surroundings, you opened up the gate and ran towards C block direction where the heard was waiting.
You, Daryl, Glenn and Rick fought them off one by one while the gate was closed.
"What the hell happened!?" Rick questioned Hershel and Beth erratically.
"The gate was open." Beth answered uneasily.
"Where's Carl, Lori, everyone else?!" Rick asked. You ran up beside Rick.
"I saw them. They went into C block! I'm going after them!" You began to ran but Rick stopped you by grabbing your waist.
"No!" Rick grabs you and pulls you back. "You gotta stay put." Rick had his hands on top of your shoulders for you to take a moment to calm yourself.
