quackity woke up on his couch. he checked the time to see it was already two pm. he sat up and sighed. his body felt much better. he checked his arms and legs to see all the damage was gone. there were still minor bruises but everything had just disappeared.

maybe a side effect.

he walked to his garage and decided to practice more with his swinging and fighting.

the date wasn't until seven. so he'd start getting ready at five. an hour to shower and another to mentally prepare himself.

soon five pm hit. he took a nice long shower and thought about how amazing spider-man was becoming in such short time.

he then picked out his nicest outfit and actually fixed his hair for once in his life. he picked out his nicest shoes and cologne.

finally he was waiting for sapnap.

there was a knock on his door and he jumped. he quickly went to go open it. sapnap stood on the other side.

he was just as nicely dressed. they both stood starstruck and stared at each other.

"you look— amazing." sapnap whispered.

quackity blushed, "you look great as well."

sapnap offered out his hand, "should we go?"

quackity grabbed onto it and nodded. sapnap led them to his car and opened the door for quackity. he then got in.

his last track began to play. it was quiet but soothing to provide quackity some ease from the tension. he tried to not obviously wipe his hand sweat.

when they arrived at the restaurant sapnap helped quackity off and they held hands as they walked in. they were welcomed to a booth and sat across from one another.

sapnap reached over to quackity and messed up his hair, "i like it messier."

quackity blushed a little.

"what else do you like about me?" quackity is bold to ask.

sapnap gets flustered at the sudden question.

"i like your hair, i like your beauty marks, i like how you have a life and can't reply to a text message for shit, i like how you get flustered very easy, i like how you have this smile that gives me butterflies, i like a lot about you quackity."

and for a moment quackity feels as though he doesn't need anything else in the world, as if his entire future is right there in front of him.

"god, you're so fucking sappy. i love it."

the waitress comes and asks for their drinks. she then leaves again and sapnap grabs quackity's hand. he leans in to kiss it before stopping himself and studying it. quackity then remember his bite and pulls his hand away.

"what happened to it..?" sapnap asked.

quackity looks away, "just a bug bite. i was scratching it hard so that's why it looks like that."
