Shino's P.O.V

My heart was pounding, my face felt like it was on fire despite the fact that I was 7ft underwater. I starred at the loving violet eyed boy under me, unable to tear away from his cuteness.

I don't know why but this felt right, as if we were finally breaking through something between us since we first met. And I loved it.

I could feel Arty's mouth go loose and slightly open, allowing me entrance. A warm fuzzy feeling snaking around my stomach and heart and squeezed just as tight as my grip around Artemis. After a few minutes he suddenly jerked away, a spike of guilt piercing me.

I knew I was going to far, I was becoming selfish, asking him to go to this extent. Artemis was looking above us fo a reason, so a follow his gaze and panic quickly took hold.

The security sheet to the pool was closing above us. My stomach dropped as we frantically swam up to the surface, but it was to late.

We broke the surface just as the two panels connected, sealing us inside with only about a foot of air to breath.

" Shino?! What's happened? What is this?!" Cried Artemis, confusion and fear in his voice. I began to pound my fists against the glass, Screaming to get someone's attention, anyone

" HEY! GET US OUT!" I bellowed, but it was no use. I turned my attention to Artemis, his confused dark eyes meeting my panic stricken ones as I explained our situation

" the security cover of the pool was turned on. We're stuck in here." Regret in my voice, his eyes soon matching mine as he too began to yell for help. But it would just be a waste of energy.

Arty turned to me, treading water In his spot
" what do we do now?" He questioned, but I was wondering the same thing as well.

"I don't know Artemis, I don't know"

It's been hours and Me and Artemis swam around the pool, looking for anything that might help. I tried to think of a plan, anything. But everything was a dead end.

The glass was too thick for us to break

We can't tamper with the water pressure or anything like that cause then we risk the outcome of the water flooding the last foot of air we had and we would drown.

There was no way I was going to ask Artemis to shadow jump, I could tell he was still traumatized from doing it last time.

Speaking of, I looked over at him and saw that he was resting on the wall, shaking. I quickly swam over to check on him

" Arty, I know this is bad but we can't dwell on this, we have to find a way out." I advised, grabbing his shoulders to make him look at me.

He looked paler, his eyes drooping as he shivered

" I-I-it's n-not that, I-I'm just r-r-really c-c-cold..." his voice was drawn out from lack of body heat as his eyes began to close. I pulled Artemis into me, his back against my chest and my arms wrapped around him as I desperately tried to restore his warmth and keep him awake.

I could see why he was cold, apparently someone turned the AC on as well, causing the temperature in the air to drop. And the cold water didn't help.

To keep his mind active, I began talking to him

" so, anything about your family?" I asked eagerly, hoping for legitimate answer.

" um... how about you, anything new about your MIA uncle?" He dodged my question, but I saw right through him.

" ok, Arty... every time I try to talk to you about this topic, you avoid it and immediately go to my family."

I started at him, dead in the eyes, demanding an answer. After a while, he let out a defeated sigh
