stuffed animals

context:george can't sleep without his stuffed animals and is embarrassed about it.

although dream and george were together,they never really slept in the same bed.dream didn't mind,he wanted to,but george didn't want to.dream didn't know why,but he respected it of course.thruth is,george can't sleep without his stuffed animals that he's had since he was a little kid.he didn't want dream,or anyone else to know about it,because he was embarrassed about it.

but one night,he deicided he finally had the courage to tell dream.

george went downstairs to where dream was.dream was on the couch,wathing a movie.

"hey" george said as he sat next to his boyfriend,leaning onto his side.

"hi doll" dream kissed georges cheek and turned his attention back to the movie.

they both watched it in interest,going on their phones a few times whenever they got bored.

they were halfway through a second movie,and it was about 12am.

george yawned,getting sleepy.

dream noticed that and smiled."hey, lets get you to bed"

dream picked up george.george wrapped his legs around dreams waist,resting his head in the crook of dreams neck.

"dream?" george asked while they were going up the stairs.

dream hummed in responce

"can we..sleep together?" george managed to blurt out.he can manage to go without his stuffed animals,he's a grown man after all...right?

dream stopped for a second before smiling."of course"he went into his room and sat george down on the bed before crawling in himself.

george put his head on dreams chest and dream wrapped his hands around georges waist.

see?this is easy.he can last without his stuffed animals..he just,had to forget about it,think about something else.

...

...about 5 minutes have passed,and george couldn't think about anything else.

he took a deep breath before speaking "dream?"

"yeah?" dream opened his eyes.

"can i um..tell you something?but you have to promise not to make fun of me"

"yeah,of course george,anything"dream started to run his hands in georges hair which calmed george down.

"i can't sleep without my stuffed animals,that's why i've been avoiding sleeping together and i can't sleep now either"george rushed his words,finishing his sentence faster than ever.

he was ready for dream to laugh at him and make jokes at him,but instead..

"okay,so let's go get your stuffed animals"dream said as he stood up,helping george up.

george was dumbfounded but happy that dream didn't make fun of him.

they got georges stuffed animals and went back into bed,cuddling.

george was now fully ontop of dream.his head was resting right underneath dreams chin.dream had his arms wrapped aroud george and george had his arms wrapped around a teddy bear.

they both fell asleep quickly,feeling safe and happy.
