context: Dream is half human half dog,George is half human half cat. George comes home from a long day at work and Dream helps him relax.

it had been a long,long day for George.his boss at work made him stay 3 hours longer,gave him so many extra tasks,ordered him to do stuff he isn't olbiged to do,only to find out he wasn't getting a single penny added to his paycheck.then when he was about to leave,one of his co-workers got sick so he had to work for another 4 hours,resulting to him leaving at one in the morning.

he was so tired he could barely drive home,the five minute drive felt like forever.

he parked the car and tiredly walked over to the porch,twisting the key into the hole and opening the door.

he dropped all of his stuff right away,kicking off his shoes.

Dreams ears perked up as he heard the door open and close,running over to the entrance to see George taking off his shoes.his tail wagged in excitement and he rushed over to his boyfriend,pulling him into a tight hug.

"you stayed up?" George asked,his sleepy voice making it obvious how tired he was.his ears were layed flat against his head,his tail tucked in between his legs.

"of course i did,i could never sleep without you" Dream happily said,letting go of his partner. "are you okay?" Dream asked when he saw his boyfriends state.

"yeah just tired,don't worry puppy" George offered him a smile and he went upstairs to freshen up.

he went into the shower,almost falling asleep.

after about 20 minutes,he was done.he put on shorts and one of Dreams hoodies.he smelled the cologne,purring at the familiar scent.

he made his way downstairs and his ears perked up as he heard some shuffling noises.he walked into the kitchen to see that Dream made him pancakes.he smiled as he sat down

"you didn't have to do this" he mumbled but dug into the food anyways,not wasting a second.

Dream chuckled "i thought you'd be hungry kitty, and i was right"

George continued to eat his food,his tail slightly swaying in satisfaction.that made Dreams tail wag,he was happy that George liked the food.George ate all of it,finishing up with a glass of milk.

"thank you puppy" George said as he walked past Dream,giving him a kiss on the cheek in the process.

Dream flushed pink and grabbed Georges plate,washing it and putting it in the cupboard.

George sat on the couch,watching the movie Dream was watching earlier.Dream joined him soon,sitting close to him.George cuddled up to him,hugging his arm and pulling his legs up to his chest.

Dream rubbed his back soothingly and placed a kiss on his forehead.that's when he heard it,George was purring.George didn't really purr unless he was really happy or satisfied.Dreams tail thumped on the couch at the sight,not being able to stop himself.

he continued to rub the smallers back,not daring to move.

"dr'm" George said,his voice slurred with sleep.

"yes kitty?"

"can we sleep" he tiredly said,Dream just barely hearing him.

"of course,yeah" he kissed his forehead before he stood up,scooping up the boy in his arms.

he went upstairs and into his room,placing George on the bed.he went in the bathroom to quickly freshen up.he got back in five minutes,turning off the lights and taking off his shirt.George was already half asleep and Dream smiled as he crawled into the bed.he pulled the covers on top of both of them,getting comfortable.George moved closer to Dream,placing his head on his shoulder.Dream placed his cheek on Georges head,holding him firmly by his waist.as soon as Dream heard him purr,he rubbed soothing circles on his waist,placing kisses on his face every now and then untill he fell asleep.Dream smiled at his adorable sleeping boyfriend and waited for his tail to stop thumping.eventually it stopped and Dream closed his eyes,tightening his grip on his kitty before falling alseep.
