cat and dog

context:george is a cat,dream is a dog.

dreams pov:

george has been sleeping for a while now.i have to wake him up but i dont know how,cause if you wake george up,you have to deal with a grumpy george for the rest of the day.

so,i decided to wake him up by his favorite thing,petting him.

i quietly went upstairs and into our shared room.

george was curled up on the bed,ears flat and sunlight resting beautifully on his face.

his breathing was slow,making me completely sure that he was still asleep.

i walked over to the bed and kneeled down beside it.

here goes nothing.

i put my hand on his head and started petting him.

george shifted and furrowed his brows together,waking up.

he opened his eyes and looked at me,blinking a few times before fully waking up.

i continued to pet his head and ears,scared of how he'll react to me waking him up.

to my surprise,he started purring and closed his eyes.

i smiled at his reaction and moved my hand to his chin.

george lifted his head,giving me better access to his chin.

i stopped petting him and gently kissed him,feeling his soft lips on mine "good morning george"

"morning"george mumbled,yawning.

i picked him up and carried him downstairs to the kitchen.

he sat down on the table,watching me cook for him.

i made him eggs and bacon,and he finished it in 5 minutes.someones hungry.

"okay lets go"i picked him up from the table,making him wrap his legs around my waist.

i walked over to the couch and sat down,sitting george down on my lap.

i put on a movie and pulled george closer to me.

his back was resting on my chest,his legs curled up to his chest.

i put my hand around his waist,making him slightly flinch at the touch.

*timeskip 2 hours*

georges pov

i was in the bed,getting ready for my second nap.

dream was editing my video,concentrating on the computer.

although i was really tired,i couldn't sleep,something was bothering me.

i needed to be petted.

i was unsatisfied.

i looked at dream for a while,wondering if i should go to him.

i finally got the guts and walked over to him,crawling in his lap.

dream put his hand on my head,not paying attention to me,still concentrating on the computer.

i moved my head against his hand,hinting to him that i wanted to be petted.

"aww,does someone want attention?"dream teased,smirking.

i nodded without even thinking and closed my eyes,snuggling closer to dream.

dream started petting my head,satisfying my needs.

i started purring and slowly swaying my tail to the left and right.

dream continued to pet me and edit the video,while i slowly drifted to sleep.
