the dark

context:the lights went out and george is scared of the dark.

it's been a year since dream and george have lived together in florida.the  weather there was quite confusing,but george soon adjusted.one day it would be august hot,the other you'd be freezing (i have no idea how florida weather is so im just making it however i want).

one night,there was a really strong wind.

both george and dream were in their own rooms,minding their own business.

dream was on his bed,scrolling on twitter,instagram and messing around with snapchat.george was sitting in his gaming chair,reading a book.

suddenly,george heard 3 beeps before everything went black.

the lights have went out.it was night,but not late enough for george to sleep yet which sucked.

george quickly grabbed his phone to turn on the flash,but he realized it's dead.

it already started to get cold in the house.

george covered himself with a blanket and hurried over to dreams room.

dreams pov

i heard 3 beeps,oh great.the lights went out.

i sighed as i turned on my phone data,continuing whatever i was doing because i don't mind the dark.

wait,what about george?

speak of the devil,i heard shuffling noises and when i looked up,i saw george covered in a blanket.it was dark,but you could see his messed up,fluffy hair.

"hey,u okay?"i asked setting my phone aside.

george shook his head and walked over to me.

i opened my arms and he immediately went in them.

i was sitting on the bed with my legs apart.the boy was between my legs,hugging me tightly.

i held him back tightly as i whispered sweet nothings in his ear and played with his hair.

"im scared dream"george mumbled.

i looked around and saw two candles on my nightstand.

i let go of george and got up to light the candles.i groaned,already missing his warmth.

i quickly lit the candles and was about to get back to bed when i saw george shaking by the cold.

"aww"i cooed.how can he look adorable while shaking from being cold?

george glared at me with a killer look in his eyes,still shaking.

i chuckled and grabbed a warmed,thicker blanket.

i crawled back into the bed and pulled the blanket on top of us.

george quickly snuggled into my chest,curling up like a ball.

i wrapped my hands around him,rubbing his back up and down.

he soon stopped shaking,loosening his grip on me.

i still held him tight,enjoying his warmth and sweet scent.

the boy started breathing slowly and evengly.

i looked down at him and he was sleeping.at 8pm.

i shook my head and grabbed my phone.

*timeskip,its like 1am or something*

dream accidentaly turned up his volume,making him scared with the sudden jumpscare.

georges eyes shot open.he slightly gasped as he woke up by dreams dumb accident.

"sorry,sorry."dream whispered

"dreamm what the fuck" george groaned.

"sorry"dream said while chuckling.he put his phone away and kissed georges forehead before pulling him closer,spooning him.

george sighed and closed his eyes,falling asleep in 5 minutes as if he wasnt just sleeping for 5 hours.

dream smiled and closed his eyes,soon letting out soft snores as he fell asleep.
