context:Dream and George have a 7 year old daughter that they adopted.she gets a nightmare and sleeps with Dream and George

"come on lily,it's time for bed" Dream picked Lily up from the ground,brining her to her room.George followed after,not wanting to go to sleep without kissing his daughter goodbye.Dream tucked her in.George pulled the covers up higher and kissed her forehead,turning off the lights.

"let's go baby"Dream kissed George's temple,grabbing his hand.

they went into their shared bedroom,both freshening up before sitting on the bed.

George got out his laptop and started working while Dream read a book.however,Dream eventually got bored.reading was never really his thing.he closed his book,sighing.

he looked over at George,who was focused on his work.

"honey?im bored" Dream whispered,placing his head on George's shoulder.

George hummed in responce,focused on a certain task.

Dream watched in silence,waiting for George to finish that part so he would actually pay attention to him.Dream loved attention from George,nobody doubts that

George finished the task and sighd,closing his laptop "what do you wanna do?"

Dream closed his eyes for a second before laying down on his back and pulling George into his chest.

"cuddle"

he simply said,holding George in his warm embrace.George chuckled but accepted his offer,snuggling closer to Dream.he closed his eyes,letting out a content sigh.today has been pretty tiring for the both of them.George had a lot of business stuff to do and Dream was taking care of Lily by himself.of course,they both agreed on it.

George was about to fall asleep,when a knock on the door woke him up.

Lily opened the door slowly,holding her favorite stuffed animal in her hands.

"what's wrong honey?"George whispered,his voice making it obvious that he was tired.

"i had a nightmare daddy" Lily sniffled,rubbing her eyes.

"oh honey c'mere" George opened his arms and Lily immediately ran over to their bed,climbing on and going into George's arms.

George rubbed her back,slightly swaying back and forth.Lily clung onto George.yes,she just had a nightmare,but she also missed her dad.she barely saw him all day.she hung onto him tight,all of her worries going away as soon as she was with her dads.

Dream rubbed her shoulder with one hand,the other resting on George's thigh.

"you wanna sleep with us tonight" Dream offered

Lily nodded,pulling away from George.Dream turned off the lights,getting under the covers with Goerge.Lily got in next to George,snuggling into the covers.George wrapped his arms around Lily,placing a kiss on her cheek.Dream wrapped his arm around George,reaching Lily aswell.George hummed in comfort,surrounded by the two people he loved the most,his husband,and his daughter.Dream kissed George's temple,his cheek,and finally his lips.George smiled into the kiss,pulling away before giving Dream's lips one last peck.Dream leaned over and kissed Lily's forehead,moving the hair out of her face.Dream settled down,resting his head ontop of Georges.before you know it,the happy family was fast asleep,filling each other with warmth and love.
