Flying lesson (Movie 4)

3rd person POV

"Ugh, I can't get to them." Mavis groaned in dismay. She turned off her phone and looked at Ericka and Markus.

"I'm not having any luck either." Ericka informed them, also turning off her phone.

"Me either." Markus told them with a sigh.

"I don't understand. What are they doing in South America?" Ericka questioned with a sigh.

"And how did they change themselves in the first place?" Markus asked.

"Exactly. It's not like there's a mad scientist just living in the basement." Ericka sarcastically said. She then frowned when she realized, there was indeed a mad scientist living in the basement. "Oh."

...

"Great-grandfather, what did you... do?" She trailed off, noticing everything was torn up. Markus and Mavis peeked in and gasped at what they saw. Ericka went inside the room and looked around worriedly. She picked up his pink wheel and looked at in in shock. "Oh, no." She muttered. "Great-grandfather?" She called out.

He popped his head out from behind the bags of dirt and smiled nervously. "Oh, hello, ladies and gentleman." He greeted them. "A little busy at the moment." He told them.

"What did you do to y/n, Johnny and our Dad?" The twins asked the old man, glaring at him. They had sped towards him and looked at him expectantly.

"Shh." He instructed the two. "Lower your voices."

Suddenly they all heard growling. They looked to the side and saw a huge monster coming towards them. They luckily jumped out of the way.

"Is that... Gigi?" Ericka asked in shock.

"Turns out the ray is highly unstable." Van Helsing yelled while loading up some amo. He then fired it at Gigi. The tied up balls went to her legs, tying them up and making her fall. Markus grabbed her tail before it hit him and Mavis. "The transformation keeps mutating and won't stop until the subject becomes a mindless, ravenous beast!" He explained.

"Keeps mutating?" Mavis asked in confusion.

"Whoa!" Markus yelled as he was being whipped around by Gigi's tail. He was suddenly thrown into a wall and gasped. "Oh, no. Y/n!" He yelled in fear.

"Johnny!" Mavis yelled with worry. Markus jumped off the wall and ducked down when the tail was about to hit him again.

He then looked up and smiled, a plan forming in his mind. He turned into his bat form and flew towards the pipes on the ceiling. Transforming back into himself, he kicked the pipes down.

"Ericka! Mavis!" He yelled.

"Got it!" They both yelled, understanding what they were supposed to do. Mavis started putting the pipes together while Ericka looked at Gigi. She whistled, catching her attention.

"Hey! Gigi!" She called out making the hamster spit out the pipe it was chewing on. "Over here!" She yelled just as a huge pipe fell behind her. She quickly jumped out of the way, making Gigi go inside the pipe.

Mavis and Markus quickly started to put the pipes together, finally making a huge hamster tube with no way out.

"We've got to find our dad, y/n and Johnny before it's too late!" Mavis told them while running away to get her gear.

"Right behind you." Markus said as he and Ericka ran behind her.

... Y/n POV

We were still walking in the jungle and Johnny was roaring while cutting branches and leaves with his claws. I was walking next to him with a smile.
