Venting a bit through my fav ship

"C'mon! C'mon! Let's play another game!"

"Guys, guys," Goku fluttered his hands signaling silence from the children.

"Let's just have a dance party in the guest room." Goku looked at the children nervously, sighing in relief when they all agreed.

"Alright I'll-" He noticed Chichi walking nearby. "Be right back."

Goku walked over to his ex wife and got her attention before asking his question. "Excuse me, Chichi?" He asked politely.

"Yes, Goku?" She said warmly.

"Are we leaving right now?" He asked walking with her.

"Oh no, that's Tien and Chiaotzu, I'd have to ask Krillin when we're leaving, but definitely not too late." She answered as she set the pies down.

"Oh okay, yeah not too late, because I still need to get to Vegeta's after we meet back up at Bulma's." Goku turned to walked off when Chichi pressed on.

"Wait, so your not spending Thanksgiving with Bulma and your family?" Chichi inquired.

"W-well I just need time to heal from what she did to me. "Goku barely stuttered out before she ranted on.

"Why don't you want to spend time with her? She's done nothing but try to rebuild her relationship with her, you, and your new toy."

"We talked about it, and she said whatever works best for me works best for her. So we decided to just take the recovery slowly." Goku looked around helplessly at the thousands of eyes watching them.

"Not to mention that he's done so much worse than her." She spoke with thorns, and her tone was the poison on the tip.

He shooed the kids of as they came back, adding when he'd come part with them. "I'll be just a minute, go ahead and get started without me." Goku said shakily.

"He's so abusive, you know that?" Chichi glared into his soul.

"Yeah" his ghost-like smile twitched at the corners.

"He's hurt so many people, especially Bulma, and now I have to deal with the aftermath. I heard him while he was on the phone with Bulma, he was-"

Stop. Please just stop, Chichi...

"-I know if he ever said that to me I'd go over there and have a gun to his head. And if he did that in front of you and the kids? I-"

I'll just say I need to use the bathroom. I'll cry there just- just don't cry Goku. Hold on just a bit longer.

"That's two-faced. I don't like that."

Goku's heart dropped. Surely she didn't mean it?

"The fact that you can forgive Vegeta for all the darkness and evil he has done, but can't find the kindness to forgive Bulma? She has done nothing but try to fix things between the three of you. Ugh, and then you and the kids try to say your opinions aren't being influenced by him."

Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry.

"I just want you to see the light, Goku." She leaned in and loosely wrapped her arms around his waist, noticing the tears in his eyes and the kids coming back.

She gave him a hug but he didn't return it. Once she let him go she called Krillin over. "Krillin, start getting everyone ready to sing Trunks happy birthday?"

"Oh yeah of course- hey are you okay Goku?" Krillin asked his friend as he rubbed his arm gently.

Goku's eyes we're wide and he had tears streaming down his face as if were in slow motion.

Did that just happen? Does she not care?

He caught Krillin's shoulder and asked as he voice cracked," c-can we go f-for a walk..?"

"Sure, just let me make sure Chichi doesn't need my help real quick."

"Okay.."

This isn't all that happened but if you guys want a part two I'll try. Writing this wasn't easy, but I know it makes me feel better when I see these comments going "I love your writing!" Or "your doing so well!" It just makes me smile when I look at the screen. Every. Single. Time. Love you guys, girls, and everyone else who doesn't fit those categories. Stay safe out there and know you have my support, as long as your not doing stuff like terrorism and stabbing babies. Ahem cough cough*Vegeta and his dad* cough cough.
