First look

E: I can't believe this is the last day of summer break.

M: 'yea me neither, but at least i can spend the last day with my amazing girlfriend' he smiles

E: 'I love you Mike'

M: 'I love you too El' he said giving El a kiss

E: 'I need to go, it's late and it's getting dark'

M: 'see you tomorrow at school' he winked

El was walking home when she saw Jim (her dad) talking to some new people. El knew someone was moving in a few blocks away. It was probably them. She saw a woman with red hair, a boy with blond hair and another man with brown hair. They looked like a nice family, but what were they doing here if they don't even live here. El didn't really think about it and I just went to say hi.

E: 'hi dad, who are they?' she smiled

H: 'Jane i want you to meet Susan, Neil and Billy, they moved in a few blocks away'

E: 'Nice to meet you'

S: 'Nice to meet you Jane' Susan smiled while shaking Jane's hand.

The two boys just nodded at El without saying or doing anything. And suddenly the nice looking boys look like asshole's.

S:'I also have a daughter but she isn't around, she's probably getting herself in trouble' Susan sighed.

N: 'I will handle her when she gets home' Neil said looking furious

S: 'No you won't' she whispered.

They didn't look like a nice family after all. Eleven went inside, ate her food and she wanna go to sleep when someone was throwing freaking rocks at her window!? She looked outside and it was Mike, her boyfriend. El didn't even open her window and just pointed he needed to go away. She's not mad at him, just tired and he knows it. El just went to sleep.

-El pov-

- It's 6.30am and I wake up, ugh i hated it, and i don't even know why i always need to wake up this early. My school starts at 8.30 am and it's like 5 minutes from here with the car. I can't sleep longer from Hopper, and i can't shower at night. So everyday i have the same morning routine, waking up 6.30, showering till 7.00, eating breakfast till 7.45, then i just pack my bag and make sure I'm ready to leave at 8.15. So here we are, it's 8.20 and i arrive at school. My friends were already there, i only have like 4 friends or something. Mike: my boyfriend, Will: he's like my brother, Dustin: my best friend and Lucas he's just my friend, but i have the feeling he doesn't really like me, even after all those years. We all had the same subject the first 2 hours on Monday. The teacher placed us together.

Mr.C: Welcome to class everyone, take your seat and sit down. Y'all know me from last year, but today, yes today we're welcoming a new student. Please come inside, this is Maxine Mayfield. And she'll be joining our school.

The girl looked embarrassed. But the first thing i noticed was her red hair, she's probably the daughter of the woman I saw yesterday. She didn't look at the class, she just stared at the ground until the teacher was finished talking. My eyes followed her while she was walking to her seat. She was all the way in the back, while i was in front.

W:' hey, psst El. Don't worry about Mike, if you don't want him anymore, I'll take him' Will whispered while he winked.

E:' Will, i already told you, Mike is mine. I love him, only him. And besides i don't like girls, if that's what you thought' she whispered back

Will just rolled his eyes and smiled. Will has been crushing on Mike in like forever. I'm the only one who knows, and the only one who knows he's gay. I don't know why he said that, i mean I'd never felt anything for a girl. I only like boys, i only like Mike.
The bell finally ring.
