First hug

-next morning-

Max's alarm goes off. It's 6 in the morning. Max woke up and turned the light on. She didn't turn it off so it were probably her mom or dad. Max walked out of bed when she saw Hunter on the ground, being asleep. Max needed to think twice before she realised yesterday night they were high as hell. They probably walked home together, so that means Hunter can walk in the sun, she doesn't remember a thing but one thing she does remember is the fact they walked home in the full sunlight. If her mom or dad didn't walk further in her room and just turned off the light the didn't see Hunter. It's Thursday, Max's dad was home all day. She needed to get Hunter out of that house and fix him to get in school. You always need to start by the beginning of the week, she needed to do it now of Friday, otherwise they needed to wait another week.

Today was the day El was going to confront Max. She wanna know why she behaves like that, and she wants to explain, if there is an explanation. She almost knew 100% it was the reason she thought it was. El did her same morning routine and leaves for school.

El said everything to Will of Max behaviour and the reason she thinks it is. They both came to an agreement if that was the reason, El should explain everything with a big talk. If it wasn't the reason they wouldn't tell her, but she still wanna know why she acts like that. Will got her back. He and El would ask together, and if necessary they would explain everything together. Will was hoping they would have the big talk. If El doesn't tell her today, she'll need to tell her another day.

Max was all ready for school, her mom left, Billy wasn't home and her stepfather was in bed. He wakes up by th quietest sound, they needed to be really careful. They would just go in the front door. I mean Max did this for years leaving the Thursday's for school and not waking her stepfather up. Easy peasy, right? Well no with Hunter it isn't that easy. It's his first time in a real human house, he wanted to touch everything, but literally everything. Max needed to drag him out of the house. Okay, they were out of the house and he didn't wake up. They left as fast as they could. Max dropped Hunter off in that creepy street and went straight to school. It was typical for Max to be late for school and class. The teacher wouldn't ask about it.

The first bell rang, El waited together with Will for Max. The three other boys already went inside. 'Come on El, Max is isn't at school, or she's late again' 'yea you're right'. They walked into school thinking Max stayed home. She didn't but they didn't knew that. The first class was done, Max still wasn't at school. So yep they were right she's sick and stayed home.

Ofc Max didn't, we knew that. Her skateboard just broke and after school she wouldn't have enough time. She fixed her skateboard and that took longer than she expected. She couldn't fix her skateboard, it was broken. She walked to school and took her broken skateboard in her hands.

Max arrived at school in the last minutes of the second class. She walked in and everyone heads turned to her. El, Will and Dustin were in the class. El was happy to see her but also scared cause she needed to ask Max about it. The class was almost over, Max took her seat. El and Max were on the opposite side from eachother. El watched the clock tick. She wanted that stupid bell to ring. The last seconds off class El already packed her things. Max always left really quick so she wanted to make sure to catch her.

The bell rang and Max was already gone. El walked out and saw Max I few meters further. 'Hey Max wait up' Max turned around and looked annoyed at El. 'What exactly do you want?' Will joined them. 'Why do you act so weird, is everything alright?' 'Look El, I don't act weird, I act normal. If you think I'm acting weird, well then I am weird for you. Just do what I told you before. Leave. me. alone.' Max said and stormed off.

'Don't be upse-' 'screw max' el said mad. I don't wanna figure out my sexuality anymore. I know I'm straight and I'm inlove with Mike, a boy. El madly walked away. Will was in pure shock.
