First catch

- Lunch break -

The time was going really slow for El. Everyone was behaving normal, except for El. Mike ofc noticed. 'Hey don't worry, if he's human it won't hurt him, if he's not he deserves it' Mike whispered in het ear, he put his arm around her. El and Mike softly smiled at eachother. Max didn't felt jealous, ig the more time she spends with Hunter and the less with El, she doesn't have those feelings anymore towards El. She was happy about it, she didn't catch feeling for Hunter, she was lesbian, she didn't have romantic feeling for boys.

It was half past lunch break. Dustin nodded at Will. Will nodded at El. El nodded at Lucas and Lucas nodded at Mike. Everyone was ready to watch there reaction. Mike started distracting Hunter, Mike didn't believe El so it wasn't weird if Mike talks to him.

M: Hey do you wanna play a game Hunter?

Hunter looked at Max for a second. Max gave him a confused look. Hunter looked quick at Mike and then back at Max. Max nodded and smiled.

H: Yes I would love to.

El noticed the smile Max gave him, she kinda felt jealous.

M: Okay so it's easy. You just lay your palm, facing the ceiling. Both of them. I need to clap them, but before I'd do that you need to try to retreat.

Hunter nodded and they started playing. They played for 10 minutes, nothing weirds happinging. Once again everyone nodded at eachother. Dustin took the coin and ' accidentally ' let them fall on Hunter's hand.

Hunter flinched really hard an pull his hand really quick back. He was groaning from the pain, Max saw that the pain was from the coin. She took it out if Hunter's hand but letting it immediately fell when it touched her hand. She also started groaning from the pain. 'What the fuck is that' Max says in pain and anger. Hunter took Max's hand and walked them out of the cafeteria. The pain was bigoted, it lasted for 2 minutes for it felt like hours for them.

M: What the actual fuck was that!

H: Silver, daywalkers can't stand silver.

M: You tell me this NOW!

H: I'm sorry, everyday i put a special cream on it so it hurts less in situations like this. I'm sorry it hurts so bad for you.

The party stayed in shock.

M: M- .. max, it burned her too...

D: It didn't burn Hunter, it looked like something like that one disease. If it doesn't give him a burn wound he just has this disease.

'But..but.. it did b-burn Max' el said sobbing.

M: Let's watch their hands tomorrow.

The party stayed quite for the day. Max and Hunter went home after the silver touched them.

H: Thanks I could stay here. I'm heading home for the rest of the week. I don't know if it's gonna be something dangerous for me. If it is I'll let you know and take you to my parents.

M: It will look really suspicious if you don't go to school.

H: No it won't. There is this disease about silver. Tell them i have it. They'll believe it, trust me.

M: Okay is good, stay good.

Hunter nodded and walked out. Why would Dustin randomly take out a coin. She knew El suspected Hunter, but Dustin wasn't? Maybe he changed his mind, if that's the case the party knows about it. Max wasn't sure of course..She didn't really think about and just got some sleep.

- El's pov -

Why did Max take that fucking coin! WHY WOULD SHE DO THAT! Everything was planned, I could finally prove Hunter is a vampire, but ofc it didn't burn Hunter but it did burn Max. I just can't believe it. I think I saw that it really did burn her skin, I don't know for sure ofc. I wanna know, now i wanna know if it really did burn. I had my suspicions about Max but I lied to myself it was just in my head.
