"Hi." Tony got the doctor's attention, as he was kind of hidden on the chair near Happy's bed in the dark.

"Oh!" She jumped, turning around in surprise.

"Do you mind leaving that on?" Tony chuckled, pointing to the TV.

"Sure."

Tony stood, crossing his arms over his chest and looked between her and the Downton Abbey that was playing. We had been waiting in the room for a little while, waiting for my discharge papers to come so I could get out of there. Pepper had taken Morgan when she visited two days ago when I woke up.

"Sunday nights. PBS. Downton Abbey. That's his show. He thinks it's elegant." He told her, nodding his head. "One more thing. Make sure everyone wears their badges. He's a stickler for that sort of thing. Plus, my guys won't let anyone in without them."

Tony came over to sit beside me on my bed, taking my hand in his and fiddling with it a bit.

"I love how much you care for him," I whispered, staring at our hands as the doctor left.

"Well, for a while, he was all I had. He's been there for me longer than you and Pepper were, and I hired him sometime after I met Rhodey. He's been with me for as long as I can remember."

"I know, and he'll be okay. It's Happy. One of the toughest guys we know."

"Why are we going through the front entrance? Aren't there going to be loads of reporters out there?" I asked as was wheeled through the hospital by Tony, a nurse following behind us so he can take it back once we got to the car. While the doctor did discharge me, she recommended I stay off my feet as much as possible and take it easy.

I just hope Tony doesn't pull out my old wheelchair from when I had my pilot accident.

"To show everyone you're fine. I don't know, Pepper thought it would be a good idea." He shrugged off.

"Okay, if we're doing that, I can't be seen in this thing." I put my hand up and on Tony's, making him stop wheeling me to the door a few feet away. I took a breath, then slowly stood from the chair, Tony quickly coming to help me stand.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, yeah I'm good. Just... just don't let go." I mumbled.

"Never."

I took a few steps forwards, Tony following close beside me as I started making my way to the sliding doors.

"You got this. Just stick with me and we'll get to the car as fast as we can."

"Mr. Stark!"

"Miss. Lynn!"

Different reporters ran up to us as we walked out the door, pushing through each other to get close to us.

"Our sources are telling us that all signs are pointing to another Mandarin attack. Anything else you can tell us?" A blond reporter asked, walking backward to follow us as we walked.

"Hey, Mr. Stark. When is somebody gonna kill this guy?" Some man with his phone out asked. "I'm just saying."

I watched as Tony slowly turned around, facing the man and his phone's camera.

"Is that what you want?"

"Tony..." I warned.

"Here's a little holiday greeting I've been wanting to send to the Mandarin. I just didn't know how to phrase it until now. My name is Tony Stark and I'm not afraid of you."

"Anthony."

"I know you're a coward. You hurt my family, so I've decided that you just died, pal." Tony ignored me, taking his sunglasses off for seemingly dramatic effect. "I'm gonna come get the body. There's no politics here. It's just good old-fashioned revenge. There's no Pentagon, it's just you and me. And on the off chance you're a man, here's my home address."

"Don't you dare." I glared at him.
