Rhea Ripley- Something To Remember

This year for Christmas, Rhea and I are staying with my parents for Christmas. She wanted to since I grew up in Pennsylvania. That means there's more of a chance to get snow up here than in Florida. I haven't liked snow since I was a kid, but Rhea changed that for me. She grew up in Australia. They never get snow over there, so imagine Rhea Ripley, the most bad-ass woman I know on the earth, playing in the snow. It's fucking adorable.

This year, Rhea seems down since we haven't gotten any snow. It's Christmas Eve and the ground is greener than my Christmas tree; that's only because my parents own a white tree.

I came up with different ideas to help everyone get into the Christmas spirit. We baked cookies, danced to Christmas music, and we watched Christmas movies. Rhea isn't the biggest fan of the movies, but she's willing to for me. Because she put up with the cheesy movies, I decided to choose a horror movie for her. I also wanted to stay in the Christmas category, so I chose Krampus.

"Alright, everyone, dinner is ready. Pause the movie and come eat." My mom called from the kitchen.

"But mom, it was just getting good." Dad and I laughed as Rhea whined like a little kid.

"No butts, Demi. Come eat or you're not getting dessert." Rhea groaned and pouted, again she was acting like a child.

I stood up and offered my hand to her. "Come on, Demi Bear. The quicker we eat, the quicker we can return to the movie." Rhea took my hand and walked to the kitchen with me.

We stopped in the doorway, waiting for my parents to get their food first. Watching my mom and dad interact has always brought me joy. They inspire me to work to have a healthy relationship with Rhea. Even now, they still look so in love. It's a beautiful thing, really. Then, I felt Rhea nudge me, so I looked at her. "Guess what we're standing under?" I looked up and saw my parents had hung up some mistletoe. Mom has never used it before, so this is new. I guarantee it's because she knew Demi and I would be here. This woman ships us so hard. She's our biggest cheerleader. "You know what that means?"

I smiled and pulled Rhea in for a kiss. My parents cooed at us as we pulled away. "Just think, we'll be spending the next Christmas as a married couple."

Rhea's smile grew bigger. She took my hand in hers and brought it up to her lips, showing off the ring she had placed there just months ago. "I can't wait to marry you."

The next morning, I woke up to the sound of my dad's tractor running. Curiosity got the best of me, so I moved the curtain to see. A smile made it's way to my face when I saw why. It had snowed overnight.

I looked over at my sleeping fiance. She looked so peaceful, not a care to the world............I'm gonna wake her up. I crawled on top of her and peppered kisses all over her face. Once she opened her eyes, I captured her lips into a kiss. This woke her up more.

I pulled away from the kiss with a smile. Rhea looked just as happy as I am. "Well hello, love."

"Get up and get dressed. We're going outside!" I tried to crawl put of the bed, but Rhea held onto me.

"I don't wanna leave this bed. I'm too comfortable. Plus, I wanna kiss you some more." Rhea pulled me into another kiss. It didn't take long for her to want more, so she deepened it.

I let Rhea have her moment with me, but I pulled away eventually. "Come on, Bear. Santa got you a pretty cool gift." I got out of bed and got dressed. Rhea looked confused as I put on thermals under my clothes. "Take a look." I pointed to the window.

Rhea opened the curtains and gasped at the sight of snow. "It's snowing!" She then went to the closet and opened it. Various pieces of hunting gear were hung up and different pairs of boots as well. On top of the shelf were four pairs of long underwear, matching long sleeved tops, and thick socks. For context, I grew up in a family that hunts.

Rhea grabbed everything she needed, with direction from me. I helped her put everything on, then I got dressed as well. We ran outside together with huge smiles on our faces.

Rhea and I did everything she wanted. I was happy to spend time with her and to see her smile. We threw snowballs at each other, made snow angels, made a little snowman, and I even agreed to wrestle with her. There was enough snow to cushion our falls.

My parents were nervous as they watched us through the window. Yeah, they know Rhea and I are wrestlers, but I guess I understand that they worry about me.

After being outside for an hour longer, we went back inside to warm up. We showered and changed into comfortable clothes. Mom made cinnamon rolls for breakfast and she also made hot chocolate.

We sat beside the Christmas tree so we can exchange gifts. I passed everything out and made sure to make a pile of my presents beside Rhea.

My fiance and I had my parents open their gifts first. They each got a gift from me, Rhea, and then a gift from both of us. My mom had a Nirvana shirt from me, an Ice Nine Kills shirt from Rhea, and a two pack of soft pajamas from Rhea and I. "Thank you!" Mom was super excited about her presents.

My dad opened his next. Window tint from me, a pair of ski gloves from Rhea, and a car care kit from the both of us. "Wow, thanks." He seems chill about it, but I know he's happy.

"Your turn, love." Rhea nudged me to open my presents.

My dad got me headphones and a new charger for my ps4 controllers. Mom got me kneepads for wrestling and a Nine Inch Nails shirt. "Thanks, guys." Rhea slid four gifts to me. They were all marked with her name. Smiling bigger, I eagerly opened them. Two new video games I was looking forward to getting, a coffee mug that says, "I'm a ray of fucking sunshine," and a photo album filled with pictures of Rhea and I. "Thank you, Bear."

Next, it was Rhea's turn to open presents. Mom got her a plain black hoodie and a plain black snapback. Dad got Rhea something even more sentimental. I gasped when Rhea opened both gifts. "What's wrong, love?"

"Those were my dad's cufflinks and wristwatch. I claimed them after he died. You're marrying my child, Demi. Take care of her and take care of those heirlooms. They mean a lot to me." Dad and Rhea stood up.

She sat the gifts down and gave my dad a tight hug. "Thank you, dad. I'll treasure the heirlooms forever and I'll take care of Y/n." There wasn't a dry eye in the room as dad and Rhea had their moment together.

After Rhea hugged my dad, she opened my gifts. I got her a pack of Tim Tams, which exited her to no end. "You got me Tim Tams!" Next was a Vegeta shirt that has the quote she has tattooed on her ankle. I do not fear this challenge. Rather like a true warrior, I will rise to meet it. "This is so cool! I love Vegeta so much." I also got her a gift card to a local restaurant she likes. "Thank you, love." Rhea kissed me as an extra thank you.

"Wait, there's one more. You missed the card." I handed Rhea a card I kept out of view. It's the final gift and I'm the most excited about it.

She opened the card and read it. "Love, why did you get me plane tickets?"

"Read where the destination is, Bear." She looked again and gasped. "You always talk about your family in Australia and how you miss your sister so much. So, I asked Hunter to give us a week off next month so we can go together."

We stood up and Rhea pulled me into a deathgrip hug. She cried tears of joy on my shoulder. "Thank you so much, N/n. You have no idea how much this means to me. I love you."

"I love you too, Demi Bear." Safe to say this Christmas was a hit and better than last year. It's definitely something to remember.
