Ruby Riott- Mr. Brightside

The incident with Liv left me bamboozled, bewitched, bothered, and bewildered. We're supposed to be friends. I can't believe she would put our friendship on the line because she feels threatened! Is she really that insecure about her relationship with Ruby?

This situation is confusing. What's more confusing is Ruby. Ever since we talked, her attitude toward me has changed. One second, she's ignoring me. The next, it feels like she's flirting with me. I don't get it. She said she was with Liv, so I backed off. Now because I did as she said, I feel like I did something wrong. I'm not trying to split up Ruby and Liv. Even though Liv did step on my toes and attack me in the bathroom, I had no malicious intent. I care for them dearly. At least, I did feel that way about Liv. What she did was uncalled for.

The only person I told was Bayley. I know she won't spread that around. Natalya and Sarah would confront Liv about that since they are friends. Sasha loves drama, and I wouldn't trust her with this at all. She's always ready to cut a bitch. I don't have the mental capacity to deal with that right now.

In other developments........... Ruby and I kissed. Yes, I said that right. So, what happened, was Ruby came to my place last week. We try to hang out at least twice a month. This time, I was doing a live stream on my Twitch. The theme this time was video games and drinking. Ruby and I wanted to play Mortal Kombat. We made up the rules before the stream. If you lose, you take a shot. If we tie, we both take a shot. If you die by a finisher, then you take two shots. Simple!

I'm pretty good, so Ruby drank more than I did. By the time we were done, we were drunk. I ended the live when we both couldn't concentrate on the game. So, after that, we sat on my couch and talked. I reached out to touch Ruby's hair. "I like what you did with your hair. I think a shorter style suits you."

"Thanks! I love it. I think I'm gonna keep it. I think it makes me look hot." Ruby took her hat off to show the complete style to me.

I smiled and nodded. I agree with Ruby. Unfortunately for me, I no longer have a filter that keeps me from holding back my thoughts. "Yeah, it does. Smoking hot, dude."

Ruby rolled her eyes and giggled. "Shut up; you're just saying that."

I shook my head and shrugged. "I'd never lie to you." Ruby looked at me and smiled. It was then that I noticed how close we were. "Never!" I whispered to Ruby. Her smile softened, and I'm pretty sure I caught her glance at my lips. Slowly, we leaned in simultaneously, and our lips brushed together. One kiss turned into two, then another, and then another. Soon, we were practically making out. It was sloppy and messy. We were uncoordinated because we were drunk. It was all of that, but it felt amazing. It was a moment I had waited for since I realized I liked Ruby. It was also wrong. We pulled away and frowned. "Oh my God, Ruby. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have done that." I stood up and ran my hands down my face. "You're with Liv, and I just ruined things! I'm sorry!"

"It's ok; you don't need to apologize. It was my fault too. Look, let's just blame it on the alcohol and go to bed." I agreed, and we left it at that.

My friends and I went to the karaoke bar again. After the kiss, my feelings for Ruby have grown, and I've become jealous of Liv. So, I think I'm going to sing about it. I anxiously waited for my turn. Once it was my time, I went up and immediately requested a song to sing. I didn't want to look directly at anyone, so I let my gaze float around. I also tried to perform a bit as I sang because I really love this song.
