Alexa Bliss- It Was An Accident

I just finished up my nightly routine. I'm so tired, and I'm ready to go to bed. "Come on, Bear. Finish up, buddy. I wanna go to bed." All I have to do now is wait for my dog to return inside, and we can go to bed. He perked his head up, seeing headlights coming down the driveway. "Bear, come!" He walks over to me and sits at my feet. The car pulls up beside mine and parks. It's Alexa's car. What's she doing here?

Bear barks and runs over to greet her. "Hi, Teddy Bear. Oh, how's my boy doing?" She greets him after she opens the car door. Alexa gets out and pets Bear.

I walk over to see what's going on. "Hey, Lex. I didn't expect to see you. Is everything okay?" We give each other a quick hug.

"Yeah, sorry about that. I fought with Matt. We broke up. I know it's late, but I didn't want to stay there tonight. Could I crash here?" Alexa feels guilty and embarrassed that she's asking me this, especially during this time of day.

"Lex, you're my best friend. You don't even have to ask." I took one of her bags to help her out and carried it into the house. "Unfortunately, I got a roommate a few months ago, so the guest room is theirs. Your options are the couch or my room. Or if you don't want either, I can pull out a spare cot." I'm making sure to give her plenty of options.

"Just set up the cot in your room. I'd rather not sleep on the couch if you have a roommate." Alexa shrugged her shoulders and went into my room.

I went to my closet and pulled out a single-person cot. I set it up and put a mattress on it. "There you go."

"Thank you, Y/n." She made herself comfortable on the cot. Once I knew she settled in, I climbed into my bed with Bear. "Goodnight," Alexa said through a yawn.

Time passed by. Alexa and I got closer. She moved her things in with me, figuring it was better than finding her own place. It just so happens we're on the same brand currently. That makes it easier for us, for travel purposes and all that. Since she moved in with me, we've been arriving to work together. "Hey, before we go in, I wanted to talk to you about something."

I park the car and give Alexa my full attention. "What's up, Lex?"

"So, part of the reason why Matt and I fought so much was because of his jealousy over you. He always claimed I liked you and you were gonna steal me from him. I'd always reassure him, but the last fight he kept insulting you. Naturally, I defended you because I wasn't having it." She paused to let me process. "I also went straight to you after the fight and break up since you're the closest friend I had that lived the closest to me. I moved in and realized Matt was right. I do like you."

My eyes widened in shock. "You like me?" I pointed to myself. "Me? Are you sure." Lexi laughed and nodded her head.

"Yes, I'm sure. I've liked you for awhile now." She explained.

"Wow, uh, this was unexpected. Yeah...I...I, uh like you too." Lexi and I giggled excitedly together. "Does this mean you can be my girlfriend now so I can take you on a date?"

"I'd love that!"

Just a couple months later, news leaked of our newly formed relationship. Lexi and I knew secrecy wouldn't last forever. We each confirmed the relationship. Little did we know of the consequences.

"Hey, watch it!" I was walking to an interview when Buddy Murphy shoulder checked me. I know damn well it was on purpose.

He turned to look at me. "What's the matter? Can't walk on your own two feet there, R/n?"

"You know, this isn't the first offense. What's your problem?" I turn to him.

He approaches me and gets into my face. "I've got tons of problems with you." He leans in close and whispers. "Starting with the fact that you stole my fiance."

"Get over yourself, Murphy. None of that was me. Quit being a crybaby and move on." I turn to walk away when Buddy hit me. I hit him back and we go into a brawl.

We get some good hits in before security pulls us apart. "I want you in that ring tonight, R/n! I'm gonna snap your body in half!"

Sure enough, the match was made official. Everything was planned out beforehand. I'm going to win the match. The only problem, is Buddy refused to talk before the match. So, I'm going into this blind without knowing what kind of match we would want to have.

I make my entrance and interact with my fans on the way down. Once I got to the ring, I was ambushed by Buddy. He came out of nowhere and hit me from behind. Since I was caught off guard, that gave him a chance to throw me into the steel steps.

"Come on, I thought you had more fight in you!" Buddy taunted me and then pushed me in the ring. I used the ropes to pull myself to my feet.

The bell rang, which officially started the match. I wouldn't let Buddy bully me, so I ran at him and exchanged punches. I then hit him with a good punch. Unfortunately, I was met with a headbutt so bad that I got dizzy. Buddy kneed me in the stomach, which caused me to drop to my knees. Once I was down, he kneed me again in the face. He went to cover me. Out of pure instinct, I kicked out at two. I roll over so I could try and stand up, but stopped when I noticed blood. I touched my nose and winced. It was definitely crooked and bleeding a lot.

I grunt and pull myself to my feet. Buddy and the referee are arguing. I take the chance to climb the turnbuckles. I used a meteora on Buddy and covered him. "1, 2, 3!"

After that, everything felt wrong. I fell onto my back and fought to remain conscious. "Babe! Hey, it's me. It's Lexi! We're on our way to the hospital."

"Lexi?" I realize I'm on a stretcher and she's sitting beside me, holding my hand.

"Matt definitely did this on purpose. I guess he doesn't take rejection well. At least you beat him." She laughed and shook her head.

"My head hurts." I closed my eyes to fight against the pounding headache I have.

"The paramedics said you have a possible concussion. Just relax, we'll be at the hospital soon." She ran her fingers through my hair.

"Thanks, Lex." I softly smiled.
