"So.." The male said, trying to make conversation whilst looking around. Keeping a keen eye on every little movement. "Where did you learn to fight like that?"

The question was directed at Kate, so Jasin kept quiet, now walking next to her instead of guiding her places.

"I, uh, started taking martial arts when I was five." Kate replied.

"Wow. So, like, a year ago?" He responded, soon looking over at Jasin. "And you? That move was pretty impressive."

Jasin smiled slightly, proud of the praise. "I learned it when I was younger, along with lots of different ones. They prove useful in certain situations."

"Who taught you?" He questioned, looking behind and putting a hand behind Kate to move her away from a pedestrian, causing her to get spooked.

"None-ya" Jasin answered.

"None-ya?" He asked, confused.

"None ya business." She answered with a shit-eating smirk. The male looked at her face in slight shock. He knew that smirk, he'd seen it plastered upon his friends face many times. And yet he hasn't seen it since..

"Are.. Are you assessing threats? Is that what you're doing?" Kate questioned, bringing him out of his daze.

"Something like that." He answered roughly, after a pause.

"So.. So that's how you operate? You're just constantly looking for things that are suspicious or weird?" Kate questioned again.

"Uh huh."

Everyone fell into an awkward silence, one that Kate couldn't handle, so she spoke again, "Look, just so you know, I'm not some total noob, right? Um.. I know I was a little overwhelmed back there, but I held my own with those douchebags."

"There were at least six. I took down three, you ran from two, and he took down the other three. You really think you 'held your own'?" Jasin mused, causing Kate to blush in embarrassment and glare at her.

The male let an amused smile slip before returning to his icy look.

"Right here," Kate said, slowing her pace and stopping in front of Italian Heroes: Pizza & Subs. Kate was desperate for the awkward silence to cease. "Um, some people have called me the world's greatest archer."

"Yeah? Are you one of those people?" The male asked, annoyed.

"Well- Well, one of them is. Yes." Kate stuttered.

"That's wonderful. Yeah. Open the damn door already. It's colder than my soul out here." Jasin whined, Kate obliged and opened up the door.

Kate entered first, then Jasin, and lastly Clint. Jasin didn't miss it when he smacked his head against the door whilst locking it. In fact, she snickered.
