Footsteps echoed in the building, all the whispering stopping as the male moved a curtain away with his cane, walking into his office.
"Ms. Bishop," He greeted, Eleanor standing up.
"Mister Fisk." She returned. Jasin watched the interaction from a far corner of the room. One where if her invisibility broke, she could easily jump through the window and escape. She also cloaked a small recording device, so she could replay their conversation if need be.
Fisk moved around the desk, sitting down, Eleanor following, "What can I help you with, Eleanor?"
"We've had a good relationship, haven't we, Wilson?" Eleanor asked.
"Huh. Wilson Fisk." Jasin thought to herself. "Loki, please remember that for me."
I have nothing better to do, He grumbled.
"Yeah," He agreed.
"I've never asked questions, I've always done what was told." Eleanor continued.
"What I'd expect when there's a debt, and your husband owed a small fortune." Wilson pointed out.
"Which I have repaid tenfold by now," Eleanor said respectfully.
"All the while doing pretty well for yourself." He pointed out. "Like you said, it's been a good relationship, which is why I'm a little confused where you're headed with this."
Eleanor took a deep breath, "I handled Armand like you asked. My fiance is taking the fall for Sloan. But my daughter, my daughter is home now, and she's getting too close."
Jasin's eyes widened, breath hitching as Eleanor continued, "And that's where I draw the line."
"There are no lines in the business," Fisk said.
"And that is why I have to leave this business." Eleanor said seriously.
"Eleanor, don't be rash." He demanded.
"I want you to know that I have been keeping an insurance policy." She explained.
"Eleanor..." He warned, angered.
"Copies of everything, in a safe place." She continued.
"In the spirit of the holidays, I'm gonna give you a minute to think about what you're starting right now." Wilson said, voice shaking in frustration.
Eleanor shook her head, "I don't need a minute."
With that, she stood up and walked out. Jasin looked at her impressed, knowing that took a lot of courage. She looked back to Kingpin, seeing his eye twitching.
"If I didn't know any better, I'd think you're about to go into cardiac arrest." Jasin mused, showing herself.
Wilson looked at her in satisfaction, "Well, if it isn't my angel."
Jasin cringed, hating that name, "Don't call me that."
"Why not," He mused. "You're such a pure and loyal soul."
"I'm 99% angel, but oh, that 1% makes me the devil's favorite." She countered, crossing her arms.
Fisk frowned, "I'm not the devil."
"I'm not your favorite," She smirked.
"What's your business here, Jasin?" He snapped. "You should be lucky I haven't killed you myself for betraying the organization."
Jasin hummed, "If you did, you'd have quite the hard time living safely."
"Oh, really?" He spat, standing up and marching over to her, stopping right in front of her. "I guess I'll find out."
Jasin gasped, clawing at the hand that had wrapped around her throat, cutting off her air. Fisk lifted her off the ground, Jasin desperately trying to escape his grasp.
"Loki! Why can't I teleport?!" She thought, panicked.
I don't know! He answered, sounding distressed.
"You lose." Kingpin said, smirking as he slowly felt Jaisn's grip weaken.
Jasin glared harshly, bringing her leg up as black dots danced across her vision, kicking the male in the side of the head. He stumbled, grip weakening for a second. Jasin used it to push her feet off his chest and flung herself down to the ground. She brought her arm back behind her head and used her legs to kick herself up, landing with one leg bent, the other sticking out to the side, a hand on the ground to steady herself.
"I never lose, I learn." She growled loudly, panting.
He looked at her, impressed. He walked up to her again, bringing his fist back and sending it towards her head. She blocked it with her forearm, wincing slightly, only stepping back a foot. She moved quickly next, throwing a faint right jab, which Fisk went to block. Once his arm was just right, she brought her left arm up for an uppercut, sending him onto his ass.
"How did you do that?" He asked, shocked that a female about half a foot shorter than him and one-third his body weight could send him to the ground. "W-What are you?"
Jasin smirked wildly, "Darling, I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream."
With that, Jasin walked out. Kingpin shook his head before ordering the men in the room next to him, "Get her!"
All of them took off after the female, bursting out the door and looking around, but they saw no traces of her whatsoever.
