Running was never Jasin's favorite thing, but it was definitely more tiresome in the winter. With snow. Both girls were panting, running down a deserted street. Kate looked behind her every five seconds, infuriating Jasin.

"If someone was coming for us we'd hear them in the snow! Just focus on running right now!" Jasin scolded, Kate replying with a frantic nod.

Kate panted harshly, and stopped. In the middle of the road. Jasin looked up quickly, and noticed a van to the left of them. The headlights soon turned on and guys with bats jumped out.

"Kate, we have to go!" Jasin said, yanking her by the arm and steering them to the right, pulling the bandanna around her face tighter.

"Where do you think you're going? We only want to talk." One of them called, while the others whistled. Soon enough, another van was revealed to the right of them, blocking the girls in.

"Hey, we got little surprise for you." Another said once the females stopped moving due to the other van blocking their path with more men coming out of it.

"We've got eyes everywhere." Man three spat, cracking his knuckles.

"We missed you, Ronin. We see you have a little friend now." The first one spoke again, causing Jasin's eyes to widen.

"They have something against the Ronin. That's for sure." Jasin thought, soon turning with Kate to see the other males who stepped out of the van. There was an eerie quiet before he spoke.

"We got you now, bro." He said, "Why you making it so tough on us, bro?"

There was a stillness, one Jasin knew. It was the calm before a storm, but in this case, a fight. Kate soon attacked the man who just spoke, while Jasin went for the men behind her. Jasin heard a pained grunt and knew Kate had gotten hit, but didn't know where since she was preoccupied with the other bastards.

One of the men took a swing, which Jasin quickly ducked under and punched him square in the gut, knocking the air out of him. Another kicked the back of her knee, causing her to fall down on it. She evaded his next attempted blow by rolling away and quickly getting up and running at him. When she was in range, she jumped up and wrapped her legs around his neck, using her upper body for momentum as she moved it closer to the ground. This caused the man to lean slightly forward, and with Jasin using her legs wrapped around his neck, she threw him towards the ground, successfully knocking him out.

Another man charged at her, but she just swiftly moved and used his own momentum against him as she brutally shoved him into a car, it was parked

Turning around, Jasin saw Kate in a car, and the men she took on desperately trying to get in. As she was about to step in, she saw all three of them taken down by a very swiftly moving person. She watched in curiosity and wonder, as well as weariness. The man rolled over the top of the car, taking something off from around his neck, and hitting one of the men who had stood back up in the face with it.

"Ouch." Jasin thought, watching the scene unfold.

Soon more men stood up, and yet this mysterious man took down three of them with ease. He even caused them to hit each other at times. Once all three of them were down, and didn't seem like they were going to be getting up anytime soon, the man made his way over to the smashed window where Kate was. He pulled out a struggling Kate, who was soon dragged down an alleyway, but not before she gave Jasin a desperate, helpless look.

Jasin soon took after the pair, running down the alleyway to see a shocked and messy Kate, with the man holding a threatening fist to her face. She reacted quickly, sprinting at the man who turned to her and moved away from Kate to take a swing at Jasin. She effortlessly ducked underneath, grabbing his fist and using it so she could jump onto his back.

A knee was placed over one shoulder, holding his left arm back, and making it so he couldn't move it. The other arm she held in a tight grip, ridding the dagger from its sheath that was located on his forearm. Once the dagger was removed, she bent the arm she had a hold on and twisted her body, sending the man barreling to the ground while she landed on her feet.

She stood protectively in front of Kate, holding the dagger threateningly towards the man who was groaning, but shook it off and stood up.

"Wait, don't hurt him! He's Hawkeye!" Kate announced, causing Jasin to give her a confused look.

"Who?" Jasin thought.

"And who the hell are you two?" He answered, with an attitude. This caused Jasin to glare at him and throw the dagger she was holding into the cement wall he was standing next to, mere centimeters away from his head.

"Life goes on, with or without you. So, watch your attitude." Jasin spat, annoyed at the man only having known him for maybe two minutes.
