"Jack, no!" Kate shouted, running over.

"Is that anyway to greet guests?' Jasin mused, ducking to avoid Kate's backhand.

"What the hell is going on?" Eleanor's voice rang, walking into the room, pausing to look at Clint and Jasin. "And why is your girlfriend and an Avenger in my dining room?"

"Girlfriend?" Clint asked, giving an unimpressed look towards the two.

"You're the assassin, you should've seen it sooner. It's not exactly like we hid it. Maybe you're getting rusty." Jasin didn't manage to avoid that hit. "Hi guys."

"Hi." Clint greeted, awkwardly.

"Oh, my god. You're- you're Archer." Jack said, seeming to realize who he just threatened with a sword to the throat.

"Hawkeye." Kate clarified.

"Clint," Barton introduced.

"A male individual with very good aim." Jasin added.

"It's the branding issue, I swear." Kate mumbled to Clint, causing Jasin to raise an eyebrow.

"Yeah, sure."

"Hawkeye, Jasin, and I are working on a case and we needed to use the bathroom," Kate explained through a semi-believable lie.

"I did. So, we were close by and dropped in. Hope it didn't inconvenience you too much," Jasin said with a fake soft smile. "Sorry about the wall, I just got scared with a saw a blade to his throat."

"No harm, no foul." Jack said, smiling back at Jasin making her want to throw up.

"Working on a case?" Kate's mother questioned.

"They're my partners." Kate justified.

"We're not partners." Clint clarified.

"Friends-slash-partners."

"I really wouldn't describe us as friends." Hurt flashed over Kate's eyes, but she quickly hid it.

"Blah, blah, blah." Jasin said, changing the topic as Eleanor's phone rang.

"Someone used my laptop to sign onto my work account ten minutes ago." She announced, "Any thoughts, Kate? Hawkeye? Jasin?"

"You'll never get anything outta him," Kate chuckled. "See, CB-One has trouble opening up."

"Nobody calls me CB-One." He argued.

"I'm just trying it out for a second." Kate defended.

"Probably some early childhood thing. He thinks he doesn't tell me much, but he ends up telling me all of it." Kate said to her mother and Jack.

"Clint, come on, we gotta get out of here." The boy's mother called, fighting to get out of the store owner's grip after she had been caught trying to steal money.

"Hey, kid. You don't wanna hurt me, bud." The male tried to persuade the child.

"Wing him." The female ordered, watching as Clint readied the gun that had been knocked loose.

"Think about what you're doing. Don't do it, kid. Put the gun down." A man ordered, restraining a young woman looking desperately at a young Clint. "Put the gun down, kid. Put the gun down."

BANG!

Glass shattered, the male got spooked, the woman was released, immediately looking to Clint. He slowly lowered the gun, looking regretfully towards his mother.
